{Bad boy high school AU}
Y/N looked up from her book when she saw someone approach her out of the corner of her eye, looking up into the green eyes of Barry Allen. He smirked at her.
"Y/N."
"Allen." Y/N replied, raising her eyebrows. "Let me guess, skipping class again?"
"Awe, you know me so well." He said, taking a seat across from her and leaning his elbows on the table.
Y/N rolled her eyes. "You're not going to graduate at the rate you're going. You know that, right?"
"I'm aware, Mom." Barry deadpanned, arching an eyebrow. "Why do you care?"
"You're really intelligent, Allen. And don't act like you're not, because I've seen your test grades. You know what you're doing. You just don't do it."
"Your point is?"
Y/N sighed, shaking her head. "Forget it. Listen, I know you may not care about your education, but I care about mine. So if you'll excuse me, I have studying to do."
"During your free period? Why not go hang out with your friends?" Barry questioned, chewing on his lip.
"I have an English test tomorrow that I don't want to flunk, that's why not."
"Okay, snippy."
Y/N rolled her eyes before letting them fall back onto her book, her eyes scanning across the page until Barry's hands were holding hers.
"Y/N."
Y/N felt her heart skip when she finally looked up into his eyes to see that for once they weren't filled with mischief. They were filled with some sort of emotion that made his irises sparkle. But she couldn't put her finger on what it was.
"What?"
"Let's go somewhere. Anywhere, you and me." Barry said, brushing his thumbs gently over knuckles.
Y/N sighed. "Barry, I-"
"I'll have you back in time for 5th period, I promise. C'mon, please?" He asked, raising his eyebrows.
Y/N sighed softly, not being able to help herself as she gently squeezed his hands in hers. "Okay."

"Now was that so bad?" Barry grinned as he and Y/N made their way back to school, both of them feeling energized from the presence of the other.
Y/N smiled, nodding. "Okay, Allen, I'll give you some credit. That was pretty fun."
"See? And we have three minutes to spare before 5th period."
"Only because you ran like every stop sign there was."
"Hey, I got you back on time, didn't I?"
"Yes. You also got us killed like 8 times."
"Almost."
Y/N rolled her eyes, but her smile stayed bright on her face. "Thank you for this. I needed it."
Barry smiled, rubbing the back of his neck and looking up at her with his electric green eyes. "It's no problem."
Y/N cleared her throat, fiddling gently with her hair. "I guess I should start heading to class."
"Sure. Want me to walk you?"
"You don't have to, really. I don't want you to be late."
Barry smirked. "You really think I'm going?"
Y/N raised her eyebrows. "Oh. Right."
Barry chuckled softly, leaning in the cup the girl's cheeks tenderly in his large palms. He leaned down and pressed his lips to hers, kissing her softly. Y/N froze for a minute before kissing him slowly, bringing her hands up to tangle in his hair. He pulled away slowly, pressing a kiss to her forehead before grinning at her.
"See you, Y/N." he said, before turning in the other direction and walking off.
Y/N smiled, pressing her fingers to her lips. "See you, Allen."
