Secrets Within

Chapter 4

I woke to see Cole with a worried expression as he shook me awake. He was wearing his normal black gi.

"You ok, kiddo?" He asked as I got a bit upset with the nickname.

"Yea..."

"Ok? Zane's in the kitchen making omelets." Cole walked out of my room.

I got up and thrown on my green gi, then began walking to the kitchen. In the hallway, I felt someone was watching me but I didn't see anyone when I turned around. I shrugged it off and continued walking. Once a got to the entrance to the kitchen I greeted Zane who was still cooking and Nya who was making coffee and tea.

Wu was probably meditating, Kai and Jay are still sleeping. I think. They all seem unfazed by the recent attack from Hidden. I assumed Cole is in the control room, but I wanted to make sure myself.

Before I could leave the room, Nya spotted me. She gave me a small smile as she walked towards me.

"Hey, feeling any better?"

"Yea-gah!" I flinched from feeling Zane's hand on my forehead. How did he move from the other side of the room so fast?

"You seem to be in good health, then last night." P.I.X.A.L's voice spoke from Zane's mouth. It's still freaky how they share the same body.

"Did anything happen after I fainted?" Zane asked Nya. His hand still on my head.

"Nothing really, just another villain appearing and a small freak out." Nya stated.

I am glad that she's trying to keep my freak out from Zane, I would tell him but I don't want to. Something about Hidden freaked me out, he teamed up with the Overlord even though Hidden knew he wasn't exactly trustworthy. He told me himself. He wasn't threatening me, he was literally just talking to me. While the Overlord was recovering his strength from throwing Zane into a wall. Hidden just ignored his sleeping allie, spoke to me about his plan for a neutral clan. I don't why he told me. Maybe so I could warn my team or something.

"Lloyd...?" Zane asked, awaking me from my daze.

"Hmm. Sorry, What did you said?" I nervously questioned.

"You were spacing off while Nya and I were talking."

"Oh-" I flinched hearing footsteps coming towards me.

I turn in time to see Kai bolting towards me. I jumped out his way before he could tackle me, letting him hit a wall. Zane, Nya and I laughed as I helped him up off the ground. He didn't seem happy with me letting him crash into a wall but Kai gave me props for dodging him so fast.

"How did you hear me? You didn't notice me in the hallway." Kai whined.

"So that was you and magic~!" I replied.

"Jay still sleeping?" Nya asked, walking past me.

"Yep-"

A loud alarm ringed interrupted Kai, and making Nya jump. The four of us bolted to the computer system. We met up with Jay and Cole, Jay was half asleep. There was something attacking the Hypnobrai, Venomari and the Constrictai tribe tombs.

"When did those two get another partner?!?" Jay growled earning nods from Kai and Cole.

"Who cares who it is, let's just catch them!" Nya bolted out of the room.

No one's POV:

As our six ninjas moved out, they slip into groups of two: Kai and Jay, Nya and Zane, then Lloyd and Cole. Jay and Kai were going to the Hypnobrai tomb location, Nya and Zane headed to the Constrictai tomb location, then finally Cole and Lloyd would be going to the Venomari tomb location. The six intend to meet up at the Fangpyre location, if they couldn't catch the intruder from their "tomb".
