Secrets Within

Chapter 5

Overlord's POV:

I know I shouldn't angering the blonde but he deserves it. He practically told most of our plan to the serpentine. It was already going to be difficult to get the staffs, now thanks that brat is going to be more annoying to get the staffs. I hope Hidden will be able to handle the three ninjas that when after him. Him and Whitey. I snap out from my thoughts to my opponent. Staring at me.

"Don't talk about my father like you knew him for your entire life. Hidden knows you are untrustworthy!-"

"I'm assuming Hidden had a chat with you. Since he finds you as a good.... fighter." I interrupted Lloyd.

His name is unique but I do hate saying it. I rather not call him by his name, I assume the blonde would agree. Speaking of the Green ninja, he was taken back by my words.

"As if I had any intention to betray my team or my country. I'm not as low any sad villain within Ninjago!"

I do give props to his words, the green ninja can speak so harshly and still remain still. He is being very patient. Waiting for my next move. I do need a sample of his blood, to see I can make a potion that could only affect him. But he wouldn't be easy to land an attack on him. I need to catch him off guard, but he's to focused on my movements. I should probably meet up with Hidden, the green ninja wouldn't abandon his teammates to follow me or a catch me.

"I suggest you help your team, they may have trouble fighting my shadows. " I motioned him to leave. However he stays put with his swords out.

"I'm surprised you have your powers back, did you steal them from someone else?" He questions me in some weird tone.

"Not really, but I would be more worried about your friends." I spoke, the two us heard a male yell: "I am a entirely flame!"

With a fire bomb appearing from the distance with a wave of water behind it, with the both us confused. As the blonde was distracted, I could regroup with my partners.

Hidden's POV:(cuz why not ;3)

As I got closer to the Fangpyre tomb, I toss the staffs to Pythor. His temporary human form was useful, but may be troublesome for him. He was able to keep his hissing hidden. I got the venom from most of the staffs. The plan is simple get the venom from the staff and find our next partner. With the staff, I had the staff within seconds until like my partners. Though I told Overlord not to start a fight with Lloyd, he probably did as a distraction. So I can deal with him later.

"I will be up on the tree, waiting for your move." Pythor spoke, hopping off the stolen vehicle.

"Alright, keep an eye for the ninjas and the Overlord." I replied. Forcing the jet to land near the vehicle.

He nodded as I walked towards the entrance of the fangpyre tomb. Jumping in the tomb, I used the shadows to my advantage. The serpentine did seem on edge, knowing that only general kept his staff so far. Getting closer to the Fangpyre general, I use the roots from the tree above the tomb to make a closed off shield around the general. And a few other serpentines. Locking myself with the serpentine, they were ready to attack.

"How dare you steal our staffs, mortal!?" A serpentine yelled.

"When you don't fear anyone, you can get away with many things..." I chuckled, bolting to the group of worms.

Swinging their weapons towards my direction, I moved my body in a similar movement I have done with the gang members. I smiled knowing I would win this fight. Grabbing one snake, I threw him into a couple others. Three more left until I am left with their general. Using the staff, I summon some ice to trap the the snakes bolting towards me with weapons on hand. As the snakes, that weren't stuck in ice, try regain their strength, I just walked to them. Then used my staff to use some fire to trap them in placed.
