Secrets Within

Chapter 13

Misako was panicking, pacing back and forward. It's been hours since Lloyd left, having not return. The ninjas left an hour ago checking on the scene, but none of them answered her call. Thankfully, Maya and Ray were there to comfort her. They were in the dining room, drinking tea. 

"I'm sure, they're fine after all they are ninjas." Maya spoke out. Misako didn't stop pacing.
"It's just he went to help them and villains apparently attacked the museum. Not to mention none of them are answering my phone." She scrambled over her words. It didn't help that she had a cold recently.

"Maybe they'll be home before you know it." Ray spoke, agreeing with his wife. And he said that the front door creek opened, as multiple footsteps walked into the Bounty. Misako heard the door, running to the front door.

Running towards the group of teens, Misako was glad to see the ninjas in all health but Lloyd want with them. 
"I'm glad you're all ok, but where's Lloyd?" She asked.

"Um... he's-"

"Hey Misako, let's go fir walk real quick it may help you calm down a bit, you seem stressed." Nya interrupted her brother, pulling Misako out of the Bounty.
"Ok... maybe for a bit..."

Once the two ladies left Ray emerged from the dining room.  Not looking very pleased.
"Ok what happened? Why is Nya dragging Misako away?" Ray questioned the four ninjas. Who seem a little disappointed or even sad. 

"Well, the people who entered the museum were the Overlord and the Time twins." Kai spoke uncomfortably to his father. Knowing that the twins were Satan to him and Wu.
"What?! Did they-"
"Take Lloyd?" Cole finished Ray's words for him. "We don't know,  he ran off somewhere. And we still haven't found him."

"We have cops looking now for him." Jay reassured Ray, as Maya appeared behind him.
"I thought he was coming back, he sold know where we are." She question, confused about the blonde, who was their leader. Well, was.
"That's the thing.... he kinda changed.." Jay nervously spoke. 

"Like he's working for-"
"A baby fighting? Isn't that dangerous even for Lloyd?" Zane asked Ray, revealing the news.
"He's a baby now?  How?" Maya asked, panicking.
"He got freaked out.... and he found a time blade so trying to get that to main room, his energy caused an explosion." Jay said, explaining what he heard from Darkly.
"Is Nya telling Misako?"
"No,  she wanted Misako to calm down.. she doesn't know Lloyd turned into a baby or that he's lost." Jay answered back, attempting to reassure Maya. Only to hear a pair of steps trying to run out the door. The ninjas turned around to see Misako trying to leave now, learning the news from Jay. 

"Nice going motor mouth!" Cole yelled at Jay,  rushing past him to Misako. Helping Nya pull her back into the house.
"Why didn't you tell me? I need-"
"There's already police looking for him and they found a lead." Nya spoke, calming Misako. Pulling her back into the dining room. 

"The lead?" Misako whimpered, fear creeping on her mind.
"Lloyd left some footprints and they found another pair but they belonged to a female, I think." Nya sighed. "They looking right now."
Maya patted Misako's back, comforting her friend in need. Misako kept looking at the table, the familiar pattern still there, seeing it so many times. Jay said something but Misako didn't hear him over her thoughts, everyone was drowned out.
He's dead- no he's not- but he's a baby now! He probably is scared or hungry or cold or everything! I just want my son back! 

"Misako?" Zane's words plunged into her heads.
"Yes? I'm sorry I didn't hear you..." she apologized.
"The halls of villains was destroyed when we got there, apparently they came in and destroyed-"
"Or took the statues of the villains."
"Like Hidden did, but he did it alone. There were three. Overlord, Krux and Acronix."
"So, Lloyd is either lost, with a person or with the villains that tried to kill him?" Misako questioned, gathering from what she heard so far.
"Actually he could be with a fellow person or lost, there's no sign that the Overlord or the twins took him." Zane corrected, easing Misako. She took a deep breath, rubbing her eyes.
"So we can only wait, right?"
The team nodded. Maya and Ray placed their hands on Misako's shoulder. Reassuring the mother of green, before she got up again. Without a single word she walked to the five ninjas, to the hallway. "I'm going back to bed...." she said, leaving everyone in silence. The five ninjas sighed, looking at another, wondering what would be their next move.
"Should we stay with you guys.... for a while?" Maya spoke out of nowhere. Confusing most of the ninjas.
