Potatoes are really falling!

"AH!" I got up from bed and breathed quickly, looking around. No apes...no Eurocentric Neanderthals. It was all a dream...a really vivid dream.

And Author-nim.

"MINA!" Taemin barged into my room.

"AHHH!" I screamed, throwing a pillow at him. "KNOCK YOU NEANDERTHAL!" I yelled.

"Mina! This isn't the time, we're all going to die!" He entered with an open suitcase. "Mom and dad don't believe me, hurry!"

"I need to pack my stuff?!" I got up, panicked.

"No idiot! I'm not taking you with me! Hurry and give me your sour patch stash! I need it to survive for the week!" He searched around.

"GET OUT YOU LOSER! MOM CALL A DOCTOR, HE'S LOST IT!"

"TAEMIN!" Mom screamed at him from downstairs. "Stop blabbering weird stuff! Oh god, honey just where did we go wrong?"

"None of you guys believe me, but when the potatoes come falling down you'll all wish you'd have listened. Mina, I'll be gone on a long journey to safety. See you." He dragged his luggage out.

I hurried down to the living room and sat on the couch, opening the news as a reporter was hysterically crying.

"The potatoes are coming. I'm not lying! KBS ARE NOT LIARS! APRIL ONE PASSED, WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE, IT'S REALITY! NO ONE IS SAFE. THEY WANT TO HIDE IF FROM US BUT IT'LL GET US ALL!" The news cast shut down being interrupted by a static wave. When the T.V. returned it showed some comedy gig instead.

"These losers are brainwashing the citizens. They did this in 2012 saying that we should take a star ship to mars because Earth is over, but hey, it's 2017." Mom sighed.

"What kind of joke is this." I scoffed. But after all, my whole life was a joke. "I need a new phone." I brought it up. Mom and dad turned at me with anger.

"We can't even afford to pay the taxes this month! The loan sharks are going to come in and tag everything with a red ticket and you want a phone!" My mom hissed.

"No phone!" My dad added.

But I thought I was a privileged rich girl in this life. Guess not. Don't I at least have a job in this world? Mind: No, there is no need since you have a rich man who will marry you. Plus, you're almost done with college and you're waiting on an internship from BigHit Entertainment.

"Let's go." Mom took my by the hand and dragged me to her car.

"No! I refuse this! Mom, is this really happening? This is the 21st century!"

"Don't be a brat and listen to me!" She growled.

I got into mom's car and silently cried in the back seat as we traveled to the wedding dress shop.

"Park Jimin...you're such a bastard." I covered my sobbing mouth. My heart broke. My dreams with Jungkook oppa shattered. It was all over.

"I'm not doing it." I fought with him. He sat on the couch and flipped through a magazine.

"Do we have a darn choice. Just do it, I'll divorce you later." He casually mumbled and yawned. He seriously looked like he just got out of bed. Messy hair that he keeps dying and the same outfit from yesterday. I hope that pink hair at least turns natural during the wedding. I don't want to be seen known as the poor girl who married a punk or some cotton candy. Besides, what will I tell my friends?! I married my high school enemy? Then we got divorced? It'll be obvious that I'm a gold digger! I can't do it.
