~ Chapter 2 ~

" We'll be down the hallway just yell and we'll come running in like bats out of hell " Morgan jokes . Ash made sure that if I was gonna go get possible answers then we'll need assistance incase things go south . I doubt it though . I think everything will work out in the end after all a positive out look on things is always a good thing .

My hand froze on the door knob . Beyond this door an a plethora of things could happen . It could possibly change my life or benefit to it . The possibilities are endless and yet so exciting . After all the failed attempts of trying to get answers I never actually thought about what could happen once I actually receive them . It doesn't matter what ever occurs I'll handle it to the best of my ability .

I don't contemplate further as I open the door . She stood leaning over the railing with her back to it . Walking further inside I smiled " Hey Im here like you asked "

" Yeah I figured you'd come . Straight to business though how old are you ? "

" Well Im not sure when my exact birthday is , but Im positive Im 18 . I celebrate on the 16th of Febuary every year since it was the day my adoptive family found me "

" And when they found you , you had the ring on ? "

I nodded leaning besides her . " Yeah they tried to take it off and they said it burned them . My mom still has the scar on her thumb from it . They thought it contained Silver , but it doesn't we checked . "

" Last question may you turn and lift your shirt . I wish to see your lower back "

" Excuse me "

" It's a relatively simple instruction it's my last request before I hand out answers "

I sighed feeling my cheeks burn lifting my sweater a small gasp escaping her lips . I have an odd birthmark If you can call it that . It's the perfect shape of a feather . It's kind of like a scar in color . Almost white a tan white would be best as how to describe it .

" In two days top my superior will be in these parts . She alone can tell you exactly what those words mean . The best thing I can tell you now is thank you for being honest with me and that a lot of things are going to change soon , but trust your instincts . Until next time " she gave one bashful smile before jumping off the building drifting with the wind .

Great another dead end . I sighed opening the door again to see everyone waiting anxiously on the stairwell . I rolled my eyes plopping down in front there door . " Well what do you guys want first the bad news or good news ? "

It was like a symphony as they agreed on bad . " Well she didn't tell me what it means . " I'll leave out the cryptic message because well they might blow it out of proportion . Although they say it's not true they're over protective . Way over protective if I went out as much as normal teen people would think they're all my parents since they act like it from time to time . " Good news she knows someone who does . She said they're the only one who could tell me and check this out she'll be here in two days max . "

        " Well we have that mandatory training in two days some big shot is coming down here to give us a training regiment " Simon  scoffed obviously annoyed

     " Oh yeah dad and mom are on the team that brings them here I heard they're amazing . Mom said the leader barely blinked when a pack of rouges attacked and took them down in a snap " Ashlyn chimed

       " He must be strong but we're strong too and I refuse to take orders from some Mike Tyson wanna be . " I laughed at Andrew the rest admitting to how they don't wanna participate either . Sometimes I'm glad I'm human .
