  Alex is attractive , and the people she hangs with are no exception . The twelve guardians of Hell come up about an inch short when in comparison to Alex's good looks . Artemis is every part of godlike . His hair silver with gray eyes and pale skin . His body sculpted nothing less than perfect ; however , he's not Alex . His hair doesnt defy laws of science and his eyes don't challenge the Night sky .

      " How long do you plan on staring at us " Artemis teased

Giggling I shrugged playing with the ends of my shirt . I can't believe these idiots are actually here . " It's hard to believe you dummies are here , I did not think you guys would find me "

     " Well I wanted to leave you here after you took my bird , but lover girl here decided to go on a manhunt for you and here we are " Artemis answered

    " Manhunt huh ? So I'm guessing you missed me ? " A slow smiled pulled at her cheeks my heart melting instantly.

     " It wasn't more of an I missed you thing it was more of an I don't break my promises . I told you I'd always find you just did not think I'd find you here " Her voice sent chills down my spine .

     " Just say you miss me and get it over with " pulling her into another hug she held on as if in any given moment I'll disappear .

       " I missed you princess , I really did " she whispered , her lips brushing against my cheek in a soft kiss . I remember whenever she worked long nights the first thing she did was kiss my cheek when she got home. 

     " I'm so sorry . I -I tried and it they just " trying to form some comprehensive sentence my mind spiraling in attempt to put words together .

     " Hey , hey it's okay talk about it when you're ready . I'm not going anywhere , we have time to talk so no need to rush anything " her thumb rubbed small circles on my hip bone .

     " God I've missed you much more than I knew "

She brushed strands of my hair back smirking " maybe later you can show me how much you've missed me " not even back for thirty minutes and her sexualized comments have started .

" Technically you have a problem . Your um puppy ? Dogs ? Friends ? are giving us some rude looks . "  hitting her shoulder lightly I unravel my arms from around her .

" But isn't my mouth the reason you agreed to be with me " my cheeks practically burning at the thought of that night .

" Hey petty twins we have more important things to handle then your trust issues . Such as getting back home . Finding the rest of Fallon's graces well first we have to explain that your grace broke into pieces , but we meaning Alex found them and even brought one . Secondly we have a war currently going on and we need to address it thoroughly . Third of all the other generals are waiting for us back at the gates so ... Why are we standing around let's go " Artemis instructed

   " Wait . I have things to do before I leave . I can't just get up and go when I haven't even given them an explanation " He made a sour face , " well get to it " he mumbled slowly becoming impatient . I love how he's just giving out orders like I work for him .
