  "It's so odd... Seeing you here almost completely unaware of what's going on around you ; yet you don't seem as alarmed as I would have hoped," I remained quiet as a feminine voice spoke out from the darkness. She sounds upset , angry even .

Why can't I see anything . I moved one foot in front of the other slowly , hoping to find even the smallest speck of light. "I ask myself why I bothered to help you ?
