DID I FALL FOR AN IDIOT?

Chapter 7

EIN'S P.O.V

I stood up from my seat bringing my dishes along to be washed. Sighing, I muttered slowly but loud enough for them to hear.

"Suit yourselves,"

Ma immediately squealed in delight and hugged me. "Thank you, mariposa," she kissed me on the cheek. "Gracias, mi amor," she then turned to kiss dad's cheek. He just chuckled and continued eating.

Fine, if this can make them happy, so be it. They've sacrificed so many things for me, this is at least a little thing that can repay their kindness. " I have some task to do upstair. Guten nacht Ma, Dad," I kissed both of their cheeks before heading upstair, to my room.

Heh...task...yeah right, task to destroy all of my enemies that are trying to beat my rank right now.

I switch on my laptop and started to surf online to continue my MMORPG. Why MMO? Well that's because most of the heroes have good looks? Why not?

My crush always be 2D or 3D characters. Characters from games of course included. If you want to comment about the heroine and things they wear, well fvck them because I'm not interested with them. I only used their power afterall.

I only have a few moment of my victories before Caiden suddenly appeared next to me. "Yo!" he greeted. "What the fvck!!? Can you please stop appearing from nowhere?" I said half shouting. He laughed before launching himself on my bed. "I can't. It won't be funny if I do that," prepping his palm on his chin he stared at me.

"Where are you from?" I asked him but like usual he just shrugged and that question goes unanswered. Caiden is a mysterious guy or creature. I'm not quiet sure what he is. I really want to find out why is he still here with me.

I'm sure all of my hallucination is slowly disappearing. I mean like, I'm nearly cured now. I rarely hear voices to hurt myself, and if I did, Caiden will stop me. Why am I still seeing him? Why won't he go away?

But when I think about that, I actually don't want him to leave. Not yet. I would never admit this outloud, but to me he's my best friend. I'm not good at creating new friendship. I am what they call antisocial.

I usually shut myself from other people. I never had any friend these past decade. Heck I don't remember the last time I have friend. Kindergarten maybe? I only have Caiden to joke around.

"So how was it? What did your parent talk about? Taking adopt son?" God, he's eavesdropped our conversation! I heaved out a heavy sigh. "I guess I'm gonna get a new annoying brother," he smirked at that. "Isn't that great? You're going to have two drop-dead handsome brother. Other people will be jealous," Great? Great he said?

"What's great? Derik is and arshloch(asshole) and I'm certain he's also the same. They won't bring peace to me!" Now that I mentioned my little dearest brother's name I got really ticked off. Caiden started to laugh.

"Peace? Well whatever but at least when I'm no longer here, maybe I can count on him," he grinned but somehow his words made my heart ached. I clicked my tongue. He realised that and immediately changed the topic.

"But really, what happened this morning is weird I thought only you can hear me." Yes, now that he mentioned that. Gilbert without doubt could heard him.

They even talk to each other. Was it coincidence or what?

"I'm not quiet sure, but I wonder if he can see you when his eyes is cured," Caiden stroked his finger on his chin detective-like. "Yeah, I'm wondering the same thing," after he said that there's a long pause. Both of us lost with our own thought.

"Oh right! Tomorrow I won't be with you, I have some things to settle," I harrumph at him.

"What? I'm a busy guy okay," I raised my eyebrow at his clever remark. Yeah right busy...

I continued playing my games until ma knocked the door and told me to get a sleep since I have early class tomorrow.

Caiden already sprawled on the sofa, fast asleep. If you think that I'm going to cover him up in blanket then you're wrong. I don't give a damn. Besides he's a hallucination right? He won't feel anything.

After that I crawled on my bed and immediately fall into a deep slumber.
