Chapter six

It was the day after the odd date between Natsu and Lucy. Now they were both doing their own thing. Natsu drove to school and hung out with his comrades meanwhile Lucy was walking to school with her best friend Levy.

Levy: "All of that happened last night??"

Lucy: "Mhm."

Lucy nodded as a response to Levy's question. The two walk alongside of each other on the side walk as they continued their conversation on.

Levy: "I guess you two aren't that different then."

Lucy: "Huh?"

Levy: "I think you two would make a nice couple."

Lucy: "Don't start... Anyways did you get it?"

She playfully glared at her friend before changing the subject. The bluenette then tilted to her to the right as she stared at Lucy with a confused expression.

Levy: "Get what?"

Lucy: "Are you going to be the school's news reporter?"

Levy: "I'm not sure. They haven't called me yet."

Levy glanced down and watched her feet move on the side walked as she fell deep in thought. Noticing that she made her anxious Lucy then smiled and said a few words to reassure her friend that everything will work out okay.

Lucy: "I'm sure you'll get the part."

Levy: "I hope so."

Lucy: "What would your first big news be about?"

Levy: "I'm not really sure yet...hm. Maybe about the mysterious killings that have been happening."

Lucy: "Mysterious what now?"

Lucy asked with curiosity and confusion written all over her face. What is she talking about? Lucy thought to herself.

Levy: "Haven't you seen the news??

Lucy: "Not really."

Levy: "It's surprising how you're on your phone all day and haven't even seen one news about this."

Levy says while looking up the news on her phone then handing it over to Lucy.

Lucy: "Six murdered girls??"

Levy: "Yeah, it all started three months ago."

Lucy: "Three months... Six girls... It must have some sort of pattern."

Levy: "Two girls each month?"

The girls began to act like detectives and tried to figure out some key details about the situation. Glancing from Levy's phone screen then back over to the blue haired girl Lucy spoke up.

Lucy: "When was the last killing?"

Levy: "March 26."

Lucy: "We're in April now so I believe two more victims will appear soon."

Lucy states casually as if it were a normal topic to talk about. Handing back Levy's phone Lucy wondered who would do such a thing.
