I dove to the ground, fearing the worst, perhaps another dragon. I lifted my head back, but to my surprise it was not a dragon...it was an army. Catapults lauched burning hunks of rock into the city, soldiers marcing in with swords and axes, archers and battlemages holding back to deal with the proud cities defenses.

I whispered to myself quietly "H-....How..."

For I was never a fan of the Stormcloaks but this....I wouldn't attempt to stop the invading force but....did they think about the innocents those weapons could have killed? I inched closer to the city, hiding in brush, hearing yelling and screaming from the distance.

"Someone deal with those Damn archers!" A Soldier yelled, obviously a Commander of this invading force.

In that moment an arrow pierced his chest, his now lifeless body falling to the ground. In that moment a Mage ran in, anhialiting enemy forces on the walls. For then he shouted, flames burned from his mouth and practically cooked the City Guard. I had heard many stories and I knew that was something only the 'Dovah' could do, It was him...The Dragonborn.

But I couldn't even pay attention to him now, the screams were too loud to think properly some of Children, family men and women, screaming as there homes and livelihood's were destroyed before them.

I never believed in the God's but in this one moment, this single instance I hoped they were here for these poor souls, to deliver them to Sovngarde as the nords called it.

I myself tried not to think about it, only watching the fire in the night.
