In front of her was a huge throne upon which a prince was sitting. The throne was at the top of a few steps. He stood up. He was wearing a full white outfit which looked like a white tuxedo, and he wore a long white coat a round it which gave him a look of high power. The coat was clipped around his neck.He was tall and was an eye catching character. He started to walk towards her. As he started to walk down the small steps, Clara noticed that he had honey blond hair which was side swept and a pair of crystal blue eyes which completed the look of an angelic prince. To top it off he had sharp jawline which highlighted his beautiful face. Now he was just a few steps in front of her. Unsure of what she was supposed to greet him, Clara bowed hoping that it was correct. She slowly looked up again accidentally locking her gaze with his. He remained expressionless at first but smiled at her. Clara was scared and happy at the same time. She was trying to hide the crazy emotions that fought within her as she kept looking at the most handsome person in front of her.
"I am very happy to see that you are with the angels and safe. I am prince Lance Malcom, ruler of Dynasty. I know that all of this is so sudden, but all your doubts and questions will be answered by Gus and Leo Reddawn." cried the prince when he was cut off by a guard who came through the doors saying that he had an urgent message. The guard whispered something to the prince's ear. Clara saw that he's expression quickly changed to a more concerned and worried look.
" I am truly sorry but there is a matter that I have to attend to. I hope you can forgive me. I shall talk with you about Luna's threat later. Until then, ...." finished prince Lance as he held Clara's left hand and softly kissed it looking at her with his beautiful light blue eyes. He walked out the court with three of his guards.
Silence.
"See? That wasn't that bad." cried Gus who stood behind her. Clara looked back to see Gus walking up to her with a smile. She saw her mother standing in the corner of the court looking down. She seemed depressed.
" Mom, are you okay?" asked Clara.
" It's just that, I can;t help but feel so much guilt about leaving Dynasty for my selfishness. Now, the people of Dynasty are going through so much trouble because of my actions." cried Rachel. Clara hugged her mother. She hated to see her like this.
"Clara, I have to introduce you to someone." cried Gus. Behind him stood the figure of the person who she saw on the stairs, the one who seemed mad at them.
" This is Leo Reddawn. He is the lead guardian of the angels. He is the one who sent me to find you. It is because of him, that we have hope to win this war." cried Gus.
Clara looked at Leo. He was closer now and Clara could see him more clearly now. He too was tall and had a sharp jawline. He had black eyes and dark brown hair. His skin was light and he had broad shoulders. He wore long brown trousers and brown top like Gus's but it was sleeveless which showed his long muscular arms. He wore a dark brown cloak which had a big collar and wore the collar open which covered half of his head from the back. He had a scar across his left eye which started from just above the eyelid and ended below his eyelid underneath the eye. He's facial expression was emotionless when Gus introduced him to Clara. He had his arms crossed and kept looking at Clara in such a way that he looked like he could kill her just by staring at her. He looked like the type of person who's trust and approval is hard to earn.
" um... Hello. I'm ..."
" Clara Silvermoon, the second daughter of the betrayal princess." growled Leo as he kept staring at Clara and then her mother.
"Hey! I will not allow you to speak to my mother like that you jerk!" shot back Clara angry and fearlessly.
" Be careful princess." mocked Leo without any change in expression. " One would consider you very lucky to be able to speak to me like that and get away with it.Because you don't know the way of the angels yet and that you still have a human's attitude, I will forgive you. But once training starts you won't be so lucky." finished Leo.
" Take care of them Gus." ordered Leo. "Show her around and explain everything to her so that we can start preparing her to become a warrior." cried Leo. He turned around and walked out of the court without looking back. The doors shook as he exited.
" He is so rude! " cried Clara angrily scowling her face and crossing her arms. She hated him. "I'm not training with such a mean coach" she cried.
" I'm afraid you have no choice Clara." replied Gus.
"Looks like my adventure of a lifetime is gonna be,... interesting." thought Clara as she thought about her brief encounter with prince Lance and Leo.
" Anyway, come I'll take you to your rooms since you will be staying with us for quite a while." cried Gus as he smiled and summoned another portal.
