It was a rough weather out there. The Winds were gusty and the thick drops of Water felt like Stones. Still people fighting for there Life's swinging there Sharp swords around to protect themselves. The bright light of the burning houses made it look like the World's end. People were screaming because of physical as well as mental suffering. It was a revolt evoked between the citizens against the government and everyone wanted there own rights and justice.
And me...Standing far enough to be safe from this place I wondered 'how am I gonna reach my house'. I didn't care to join and support for justice and even if I did I could hardly survive there for ten minutes.
I am happy with my life and my own way........ But always things won't be the same. Sometimes you have to choose the path you hate the most to survive.
My name is Henry Hatton. I was just 20, yet I had faced something very difficult in my life. Being a merchant, traveling around the countries is my job. I still remember, with antiques and things from different parts of the world I was on the carriage coming back to my hometown.
Going through the roads, not a good idea. Now the only option was the woods, not a good idea either but perhaps a better one. They say that 'you need guts to take that path in night'. Mostly people either end up meeting a wolf or get caught in the trap placed for them but nobody ever taught that there could be something more then a wolf and a trap there.
being a trader , I've heard that these are just rumors spread to scare people and stop them to take that path because they do some illegal wood business there.
"What shall I do sir" told Oliver. Oliver was my carriage driver. He was a skinny guy. He wore a green hat which didn't match his brown pant and shirt. He would have been fair if he didn't have those freckles in his face. There were so-many, his face was brown with pale spaces here and there. Getting into the carriage I replied "Alright......into the woods". My voice become a bit dull. I am not of the bold ones. And something made me feel that not to go. More than that my imagination kept rioting in my mind. 'What if you are blocked by a group of wolf.....what if you are encountered by a spirit, that's more horrible'. I am really imaginary typed guy that even a coat hanging made me feel like a dead man standing in my wardrobe.
As the carriage moved l fell asleep and was later woken up by a big Long creeping scream , It sounded like a women's scream...like she was screaming with pain and is calling for help. When it stopped my head...it started to hurt badly, . It was a weird feeling within me., like people are talking to me inside my mind. Before I could say anything the carriage bumped and stopped. I came back to my senses. "What happened Oliver?" I asked him with an annoying look. He got down "Seems like the carriage is stuck into this slushy mud, it will take some time to get it out of here" He said. I knew for Oliver's lean body he needs to take some time to get it out, Since the rain had stopped I went outside. The mud was so wet when I stepped outside, my whole shoes went into the mud.
It was getting dark, So I took the lantern which hung inside the carriage. It was very quiet in the woods. All that I could see was the huge tall trees, which was creeping me already.
Suddenly I saw a Black Figure lurking around the trees. It was not human shaped nor it looked like an animal , a shapeless figure it was. It was moving from one tree to another, one to another and then it disappeared. My hands started to get cold. Is it true or its just me imagining again. I tried to console myself thinking it was just my imagination but it wasn't. It was there again, it under stood by a huge tree. The tree was the tallest among all the trees around. It' had long branches and too many gushed up leaves. For a moment my eyes were locked on to it. I did not wanna look at it but it felt like I was never controlling my mind. I wanted to get back to Oliver and leave immediately , but I couldn't. That thing climbed on to the tree and hung upside from a long thin branch. Now it was turning it's head towards me. There was a sound like it's its collar bones were cracking and breaking. Suddenly it stopped. I was scared and could not believe it, am I dreaming. Finally when I was back to my senses In fear I screamed "Oliver" but there was no response so I ran to where Oliver was standing but I could not find him there. OLIVER WAS MISSING.
I started to hear this creaking sounds all around me. I needed help.
