We finally reached home. It was early dawn when the carriage entered the gates of my house I felt so happy because now I was safe and also got a chance to look at my family once again. My father ran to me and gave me a tight hug. His hug made me forget everything and it just made me feel like no one can take me away. Robert questioned me about my cloths as it was completely dirty. Robert was my elder brother. He was a tall guy with black hair. His pale skin was perfect. He was more like me except for his height, he was taller than me. "Oh yeah well ... I just don't want to talk about it" I replied and went inside. They did not ask anything more and followed me inside.
After taking good rest we had a wonderful dinner. My father and Robert went back to the living room to arrange some documents. They both were actually writers for the newspaper. I was in my room sitting on the couch next to the window, reading a book suddenly there was this cold breeze and the windows slightly opened. I felt goose bumps on my neck and someone started whispering into my ears. I immediately turned back and looked around but no one was there in the room except me. I started feeling lonely. There was some kind of fear within me like I was doing some mistake. All that horrific things that happened started to come again in my mind. I wanted to tell someone what happened to me. I felt that sharing would help me forget about this.
I went to the living room. Robert was busy arranging the brown shelves that had to many old stuff while father sat in his couch drifted in his thoughts. There was silence until I entered.
I explained them everything about going into the woods, the mansion, the passage and the burning mansion ...........everything but after hearing this father stood from his old, peach colored sofa and walked out of the living room like he just didn't hear anything. he has never done that before "Father is everything alright?" I asked him. There was a long pause and then my father replied "Henry that house you are talking about got burnt years ago and no one has visited it after that".
That really gave me a shock. That could never happen.I insisted to listen to him and still stuck to my point that I saw it burn.
My father had a doubtful face... his look gave me a clear picture that he has not believed me.
"You must be imagining things" he said.
Suddenly Oliver popped in my mind. Luckily Oliver stayed with us I took my father to him and told him to say that he saw the house burn. But he refused. He was sure that he didn't see anything.
I was confused why he was saying that... He was with me ... He should know this. Now I was helpless no one believed me.
"All you need is to take rest", said my Father.
Everyone left the living room, I went back to my room, laid on the bed and was soon fast asleep.
Suddenly I heard someone crying.... it seemed like it was a woman's voice. The voice was like a warning to me of something bad is about to happen. The voice slowly got closer and closer behind me. I was really scared now and didn't wannna look back so I pulled my blanket above my head, closed my eyes and ears and tried not to hear that. Someone pulled my blanket, when I opened my eyes.............. I was damned........... I was back in the mansion.
Behind the open door was a woman dressed like a maid with almost all her hair burnt and fallen.. she had a broken jaw and her tongue was hanging out like it was half cut with blood dripping on the floor. Anyone could get sick looking at it and for a guy like me I was already half dead inside me. She was holding a kitchen knife in her hand which was pointing at me. My heart pumped faster and faster so that I could feel each beat... I was staring at her breathing heavily like a asthma patient.
Her lips didn't move. A voice came within her "YOU HAVE NO VALUE FOR MY TEARS " suddenly she started running towards me with her knife and the voice within her was repeating the same words "YOU HAVE NO VALUE FOR MY TEARS " as she came closer her blood was dripping over me and she stabbed right through my heart..........THIS WAS MY END.
