Steven wakes up early.

He sighs as he gets out of bed.

Remembering what's the day today.

He picks up his phone and dialing in John's number.

Ring.

Ring.

Ring.

Click.

"Hello?" The man on the other end says.

"Hey Smarty, it's Ze." Steven says tiredly.

"Oh hey Ze, what's up? It's been a while. The guys were worried. But I told them not to bother you. For your sake." John says.

"Is that Ze?!" Steven hears someone yell in the background.

"Back off Galm, let the man tell me what he has to tell me and I'll tell you what happened later." John says. Steven hears John sigh, "Sorry for that Ze. Anyways, what did you need?"

Steven gives off a soft chuckle. "I was wondering if all of you are free today."

"Uh, I'm not so sure. I'll be back." John leaves for a moment. Asking Galm, Aphex and Tom the schedule for today.

Luckily, they can rearrange the heist they had planned to a later date and decided that their friend is more important as of this moment.

"Hey Ze? Yeah I'm back. We were supposed to have a heist today. But right now, you're more important." John says, a smile forming on his face.

Steven smiled as well, glad that he finally brought himself to meet up with the crew again. "Great. I'll meet you guys there."

"Wait, what's the occasion?" John asks.

"I'll see you later, Smarty." Steven says, avoiding the question. Then hanging up.

Steven sighs, rubs his face and runs a hand through his hair.

Soon after the death of Burned, Steven moved back into his old apartment.

He wanted to be by himself. He wanted a space by himself. So he could breath and think properly.

He takes a shower and changes into comfortable clothing. Steven grabs his phone and opens the drawer of his desk just across his room. There sat 2 knives, a P229 with a surpressor and a dagger.

He takes his knives, closes the drawer and locks it. "I haven't used these in a while." Steven mutters, hiding the knives in a satchel. He takes his apartment keys and leave.

He walks around town for a while. Searching for a flower shop. And when he finds one, he enters the store. Taking in the fresh smell of flowers.

Steven takes a bouquet of flowers that he thinks looks nice. He pays the lady at the counter however much the flowers cost then leaves.

He hails a taxi shortly after leaving. "Afternoon sir, where to?" the driver asks, a polite smile on his face.

Steven gives the driver the address then sits back and looks outside the window. And waits until he gets to the house.

---

Steven pays the driver as he gets out. He walks to the front door and knocks loudly.

The door aggressively swings open as Steven is greeted by John.

"Ze! Great to see you buddy. Come on in, the guys would want to catch up before going through with whatever you planned for today." John happily says, but then notices the flowers. "Who's are those?"

Steven smiles sadly, "Chilled's. We're gonna go visit Chilled's grave today." he says. "And I thought you'd all like to go as well."

John smiles, "Sure. That'd be nice, buddy." he says.

Steven and John walks into the living room. Anthony, or Galm, immediately runs for Ze and tackles him with a hug.

"God. This is what not hearing from me for two years does to you all huh?" Steven says with a chuckle and hugs back his friend.

"We missed you and you fucking know that. And goddamn, two years with no contact with you is horrible." Galm says.

Steven chuckles, "Yeah. Sorry about that. I just wanted time to myself." he says and takes a seat at the couch. "How have you guys been since I disappeared?"

"We've had our heists and murders during the night. In fact, we've been meeting with Adam from time to time for weapons. So the armory is more stacked than before." John says.

"Oh well that's nice." Steven says.

"What about you, Ze, what have you been up to these past two years?" Aphex asks.

"Well, I've been doing some reading. I still kill of course. I haven't stopped doing that." Steven says.

"Ze, why exactly did you decide to come here out of all times? Why only now?" Tom asks.

"Because I wanted to visit Chilled, with you guys." Steven says, with a small smile on his face.

"Then let's not waste the day anymore and go already!" Galm exclaims.

---

Steven places the bouquet down by the tombstone. He smiles looking down at the grave.

"Hey Ze, we're gonna go ahead and wait by the car." Tom says.

"Sure." Steven replies.

He waits for them to disappear from his view. Then sits on the ground.

"Hey Anthony. I miss you a lot. But of course, I learned to move on. Are you proud of me though? I ended Burned's reign before it could even begin. I'm just glad we got to give you a proper burial. Before Adam's group left, I had asked MatPat to teleport me along with you to a hospital. And I played it off. Of course, you were pronounced dead upon arrival. That sounds like a bad thing but it's not supposed to be. And the funeral, well it was just the Derp Crew and the Manipulators. Oh! Also Bryce and Cry's crew. But after that we all parted. I stuck with the Derps for a year. Then I disappeared for two years. Which I both regret and don't regret. Because I took that time to think. To clear my thoughts. To bring myself to move on. I've also gotten much stronger over the years. And... and..." Steven pauses for a moment and chuckles. "I think I've been rambling on for far too long. I'll come visit another time. I might have even more to say next tine though. Bye for now, Anthony."

Steven smiles and gets up. He turns away and heads back for the car and ask for Tom to drop him back at his apartment.

And thus, it is over.

1037 words for the epilogue.

I didn't think it would end up this long.

Anyways. This is the final authors note for this book.

First of all thank you so much for over 2k reads and over 100 votes.

This was my first fanfic. But it wasn't the first one to be finished.

Writing this story was amazing. It has helped me to see my improvement in my writing style.

This may have not been the best work. But i hope all of you enjoyed reading this.

This will not have a sequel if it wasnt obvious lmao.

I guess I don't have anything else to say. Once again. Thank you and bye!
