~With Gary, Ash, Misty and Leaf~
Currently an amused Leaf and Misty were watching a struggling Ash and Gary. Both boys were currently on their 6th round of Pac-Man. A beloved arcade game. "I totally got this round in the bag." Ash shouted. "Oh please we all know the winner is going to be me!" Gary retaliated. Both girls rolled their eyes. "Hey Misty wanna leave these two and go try out a few games of our own? This might take a while.." Leaf asked gesturing the to the warring boys. Misty shrugged. "Might as well." She agreed. They walked over to one particular fair game Misty felt confident in. Grabbing the mallet, she slammed it down with such intensity, the dial flew up hitting the bell. "Yes! You did it!" Leaf cheered.  "You totally cheated!" A loud, rather obnoxious voice rang out. People looked over to the ruckus of two people arguing now. "Oh lord please don't let them be our boys." Leaf practically prayed. "As if Ashy-boy. You're just jealous!" The next voice rang out. Both girls visibly sighed. "It's them." Misty said disappointed. Both boys trudged over, heads drooped low and they looked down-ashamed. Ash mumbled something incoherent. "What was that?" Misty asked. "We ended up tying.." Gary elaborated. Both girls shook their heads laughing.

After another hour of games they all met up with each other at the front of the arcade. May stood next to Drew, who had an arm wrapped around her shoulders with their hands laced together. Dawn stood next to Paul, her arms full of stuffed prizes. Ash and Misty were holding hands secretly behind their backs, while Gary was throwing cheesy pickup lines at Leaf. "But seriously are you cupid, cuz you must've shot me through the heart!" Gary said grinning. Leaf groaned. "Please stop you're making me cringe." She mumbled. "You're making us all cringe and I don't even have to put up with you." Drew stated. Gary pouted, rolling his eyes. "So mean.." He whined. A crash of thunder was heard lightly, as the music playing in the mall drowned it out. May unconsciously gripped Drew's hand and then let go quickly. Drew looked down at her carefully, wondering if he had simply imagined it. "Looks like we weren't able to beat the rain, let's get out of here before it gets too bad." Misty advised. They began their walk towards the mall entrance. "Run on three." Gary said. "One....two.." He counted. "Three!" He yelled quickly and jerked Leaf out into the rain, who yelled in surprise.

Thunder boomed up ahead. Gary picked her up by the waist and spun her around in the rain. "Gary! Put me down!" She squealed, laughing loudly, gripping onto his shoulder so she wouldn't fall. One by one, everyone had ran out into the rain, all getting soaked, the warm air, contrasting to the cool water. Dawn had put her prized possessions in the car, so they wouldn't get ruined.

Paul looked over and the sight nearly stopped his heart. Dawn was smiling. Truly smiling, with her head up to the sky as she ran around with the other girls, completely drenched in the rain. He knew they should leave, they would possibly get sick. But in this moment. This short, perfect moment. He couldn't care less. She turned her head to face Paul, a bright smile on her face. Ash and Misty had just begun to slow dance in the rain, setting off a chain reaction. Their hands interlocked, an arm around Misty's waist. Gary and Leaf, along with May and Drew, had begun to dance as well. Paul let out his hand, a silent gesture to dance. Dawn, of course, accepted.

Drew pressed his forehead against May's. The parking lot completely empty of people. He savored this moment. This precious moment.
