Thomas's P.O.V

Right when Thomas entered the E.R, doctors rushed all around him, injecting him with needles and syringes. He wanted to scream. To yell at them and tell them to get the hell off of them. But he was frozen. Like an ice cube. Like a statue. Before doing anything drastic, they put Thomas to sleep.

Thomas fell asleep quickly. He woke up in his brain, not too long after. It was dark. No light. He couldn't see the light anywhere. Thomas walked continuously until his foot touched something wet. A puddle. By now, his vision adjusted to the darkness. He squinted to see...

A little boy with his parents, skipping. The little boy splashed in the puddle, but the puddle didn't make a ripple. The man and woman behind the small child were smiling, with such pride and love.

He smiled at the 3. The happy family together.

Thomas walked on. Something told him to move on.

He heard an noise.

No

He knew what this was. The very day they died. He was only 10. These were memories. A movie of his life. And this... was the most dreadful, unforgettable memory.

He saw the faint line of an ambulance drive towards him, and he noticed the people they shoved in the back.

He took a few steps forward. He saw the doctor walk up to the a young boy, an older version of the little boy from the puddle scene. The doctor whispered something with a mournful face.

The boy cried. The boy ran, and ran, and ran towards the exit.

Thomas shivered. He wanted to cry. Needed to cry, but this was a dream. This was not reality. This already happened. There's nothing he can do about it...

Thomas trudged on, and saw young men.

Alex

This was when they went to the ice rink. Probably the best night Thomas has ever had. But for some reason, the memory quickly disappeared. Like as if, it wasn't real.

He shook his head.

"Of course it's real you dumbass, it was just the other day." Thomas said out loud.

He kept on strolling, and spotted something glowing.

Light

Thomas ran to it. It was a globe. A glove full of more memories, more past times. But one particular memory caught his eye.

*Flash back*

After running away from the doctor at the hospital when they broke the news, he ran home. He was living with his grandma, but she was not fond of Thomas, so she always left him in the house alone. He locked the door of the house after bursting in, and ran to the bathroom.

He couldn't stop crying, tears made a stream down his face. Panting, grasping for air, he slid down the door of the bathroom.

He couldn't stop thinking, that this was all his fault. He was the one who started yelling at them.

He was worthless. All he did was cause trouble. Even that Alexander from class said so.

He shouldn't deserve to live. He didn't deserve to live.

Somehow he got a hold of a blade.

"What am I doing..." He thought to himself. He knew his parents were gone. He knew they were gone since the car crashed.

Thomas winced. He cut across his wrist with the blade.

He deserved this. This is what was supposed to happen.

*Real time*

Thomas screamed.

This is not where he was supposed to be. These memories... they're not who he was. This past didn't define him.

But why did it feel so familiar.

He changed for Alex.

That's what it was.

But where is he?
