HOLY CRAP, JOBS.

Let me back up a minute so you understand why I'm freaking out.

I'm a pre-T guy. The average person who saw my birth name would just figure that I am a stud lesbian when they saw/heard me. But I am starting T soon. And I also should be starting a job at the end of this week or next week. So do I let them think I'm a stud lesbian who just so happens to be growing facial hair and going from "where my hug at?" To "Read at 9:00AM"? Or do I tell them now and potentially lose my first job on the first day? Questions, ya know? Most of the people I know who read my book and comment aren't of age to have jobs, but still if any of you know how accepting pizza hut is of trans people, and could let me know, I'd be extremely grateful for it! I'm going to research it online but I kind of need this job. I'm moving out in a few months hopefully and I want to be able to pay rent on my own and to get a car soon. I don't want to ask for my parents help, I mean I know they would help me of I asked, but I want to start taking the first steps of Independence. Of course, I'm probably gonna need them to cosign on the car because they wouldn't even let my sister rent/buy a car when she was 21 (and in the military, might I add) so it's extremely unlikely that I can buy one at 18 with no credit.

Are any of you getting a job soon and struggling on coming out to them before you start, just in case?
I think I might say it to them like this, "By the way, I am transgender and go by Ty, I don't need any special accommodations or anything, I just go by Ty instead of 'birth name'. I hope that doesn't change anything." Does that sound good to you? There's no law that says you can't be discriminated against for being transgender so I really want to be super polite about it and everything.
