Drown

3rd pov
Ame came into the house, arms and hands full of groceries. She had just came home from work, and the store. She just got back from picking up the kids from school. Yes, the kids could've rode the bus but Ame didn't know if she would be home to open the door.
She put the groceries down and took off her heels. She knew that if Kaldur was here, seeing her doing all the work that he'd have a fit. He's always treated her like a kid every time she got pregnant and insisted that he do everything. She began to go upstairs to change and take a quick shower. Before she even got her shirt off there was a knock at the door.
"Mama?" Opal asked,"You did remember that I have a swim meet, right?"
"Crap." She had completely forgot.
She put on her work shirt again and opened the door,"Of course not honey, but let's hurry."
She wrote Kaldur, her husband, a quick note and rushed out the door.

After the swim meet, Ame took the kids out for ice cream,"Don't tell your dad."
"Of course not Mama," Tulio said,"Dad would be mad if we had it without him."
"He'd be even more mad if he saw you eating it. And he'd say, the doctor said not to give into your cravings." Alexandria mocked her father.
Ame chuckled,"Well good thing your dad isn't here." She looked at the time,"But we should get home, it's getting late."
After leaving the restaurant with their tasty treats, Ame unlocked the car and Opal hopped in the front seat. Alexandria began to complain and the girls began to bicker as usual. Tulio was too busy with his ice cream to care. On their drive home, they listened to their favorite songs and the kids sang their little hearts out. Alexandria and Tulio tried to out do the other and ended up screaming instead of singing. Knowing it was getting late, Ame took a shortcut. It ended up going over a bridge. There was little to no cars on the bridge. And seeing that it was getting darker, Ame went over the speed limit in order to get the kids in bed on time. All was well until a man popped out of nowhere causing Opal to shout,"Mama, look out!"
Ame tried to swerve out the way, nearly missing the man. The car flipped and hung to the railing of the bridge. The car balanced on the edge. The kids screamed and scrammed to get to the back of the car. Ame had hit her head on the steering wheel and was knocked out by the blow. As the twins climbed the back seats, Opal undid her mother's seatbelt and tried pulling her to the back with the others. The man that Ame avoided, appeared behind the car. The twins screamed for him to help, but instead the man began to push the car further to the end.
It's like it happened in slow motion. The kids ice cream flew in the air as they screamed with shock and horror. The twins stuck to the ceiling as the car fell. Ame's purse and all it's accessories including her phone went out the downed windows. It was like they were free falling without any parachutes. It didn't take long for the car to hit the water. Ame went through the windshield and got stuck within the glass.
Water came rushing through the open windows and the glass began to break. They began to sink. Ame, still unconscious was left to drown as the water started to seep into her lungs. Opal and Tulio, who could breathe underwater, thanks to their father, struggled to open the car doors. Alexandria began to lose oxygen. Because their was a complication during the twin's pregnancy, she was born without gills.
Opal got free first and helped her sister get to the top of the water. Tulio was left to get Ame out the window. He started to break the glass around her but before he could get her loose, everything turned black.
