As we pull up to the airport I think of Zach, I had no idea he felt that way about me. I smile to myself as we park, I hold the little box close so I didn't lose it as I grabbed the bags I was able to carry.
The driver helped me with my bags and helped me get settled on my plane before leaving me. Right as the attendant tells us to stay seated I decide to open the box.
I pulled the tiny white ribbon from the box and tucked it away in my pocket. I slowly opened the box and gasped when I saw what was inside.
Inside the tiny box was a diamond bracelet, I could feel the hot tears come to my eyes. In the bottom of the box was a picture of Zach and I last summer and camp.
And beneath it was a note, I'm going to miss you more than anything in the world, I hope I don't have to wait to long for you to come home. XOXO ~Zach
I feel the tears run down my face as I look at the picture. I put the bracelet back in its box so I don't loose it and tuck it safely in one of my bags above my head.
I held the picture to my heart the whole two hours we were in the air. As I exited the plane I saw a man holding a white board with my name on it.
I walked over to him and he helped me with my bags. "So where are we going?" I ask he turns and points at a huge jet. We haul my stuff on the jet and he takes me to a small room.
"Stay here, we have a few more kids to pick up, hey will be staying in here with you. Until we get to the island" he smirks and walks out.
