Chapter 25

Hannah

I quickly get up and try to run but my pant leg gets caught and I fall. Damien gets up and comes over to me and I hold tightly to the book as I try to get up.

He helps me up and reaches for the book but I back up, "you know your really making a big deal over "nothing" written" I say smiling as I run for the stairs.

He runs after me and I run for the kitchen, "Hannah come on!" He whines and I sit on the counter.

I stick my tongue out at him and open the book "I'm reading this and then I'll give it back" I say and he gives up.

I open the book and turn to today's date and start to read.

After telling Jeremy that I saw Hannah naked he said "I have a feeling that's not that only time you'll see her naked" I've actually been thinking about that and it seems weird.

I mean I'm pretty sure that Jeremy is dating Hannah so why would he say? Maybe he was trying to say he doesn't mind sharing, but Hannah isn't an object she is a human being just like us.

I wouldn't mind being with Hannah but I would treat her like a human being and not an object that can traded and used.

I look up at Damien and he's blushing and looks embarrassed.  I close the book and hand it back to him.

He looks at me and doesn't say anything I smile and go and sit on the couch.

He follows me slowly and just stares at me "so no teasing?  No jokes, no nothing?" He asks

I look at him and smile "no, why would there be?" I ask, he shrugs and sits next to me. I look at him and smirk "did Jeremy really say that?" I ask.

He turns bright red "I knew you couldn't just leave it" he says smiling "and yeah he did" he says.

I laugh and nod "well, he's probably right" I say and he looks at me shocked and turns red again.

I laugh "I'm serious, you'll either accidentally walk in on me, I'll need your help with something, or......." I don't finish because I'll turn red if I do.

He doesn't look at me because he knows what I was gonna say, I put a hand on his shoulder "Damien you sir are an amazing friend, I'm glad I got to read your book" I say.

He smiles "ditto". I smirk and kiss his cheek and he smiles cutely.  He stares at me and I stare back, he was so cute and awkward and it made me so giddy and happy inside.

He made me laugh and he didn't make me feel uncomfortable. Damien was a good friend and I'll be sad when I have to leave him.
