I winced as Alois wrapped a make-do brace around my wrist. "I'm sorry this all happened..." Alois said slowly, his eyes focused on the brace. He was clearly taking most of the blame for was Claude did. I winced when he tightened the bandage slightly. "Did I hurt you...?" He asked me curiously, glancing up ever so slightly at my reaction as he tied the bandage in place. "N-No...." I said quietly. I lifted my arm and looked at my wrist, examining the white bandage. "It's not the best, but it should last for now." He explained. I watched him as he pushed a lock of blonde hair away from his piercing blue eyes. I felt a small smile slip onto my pale face when he looked at me again. I quietly slipped off the bed, standing just in front of Alois. So close our noses slightly brushed against each others. My eyes widened as I quickly stepped to the side, my cheeks grew warm and a light blush appeared. "Sorry..." I whispered quietly. I quickly glanced up, catching the gaze of the friendly blue eyes that flickered away in embarrassment. I smiled a bit, butterflies fluttering around in my stomach. "I.." I started to speak but soon stopped, not knowing how to respond.

I placed a hand on my cheek, trying to hide the blush that slowly grew darker. My gaze fell to the concrete floor. My cheeks are growing so warm and this smile won't fade away. I glanced over at Alois who wore a joy-filled smile. His smile, suddenly makes me feel safe, like this place is somewhere I'm able to run away to. But why is that...? I wan't aware that I was still staring at Alois while I was lost in thought. "Excuse me, Eve...?" Alois spoke up, snapping me out of my thoughts. I stood up straight and looked Alois in the eyes, trying my hardest to prevent from blushing. "Yes, Alois...?" I said with a normal voice. "I was going to ask you if you'd like to go upstairs... It's awfully dusty and dark down here..." He spoke, a hint of disgust lingered in his voice as he eyes the room. I pushed a loose ringlet behind my ear and nodded with a polite smile. "Sure, I'd like that very much." I replied, hoping to bring his attention away from the dark room. Alois' lips twitched into a grin. "Alright, then! Follow me, if you will." He said, extending a held out to me. I gladly accepted the offer by reaching out and placing my hand on top of his. Alois lead me out of the room in an instant and began leading me to who knows where.

"I can give you a tour if you'd like." Alois suggested as I walked down the long corridor. I let my fingers follow the detailing on the walls, taken away by the beautiful scene. This is much better than down in that unused hall. "Eve...?" Alois said, looking at me. I jumped, quickly looking at Alois. "Hmm, yes?" I said quickly, completely unsure of what he asked a few moments ago. Alois let out a light chuckle. "You seem very interested in the detailing on the walls." He said. "I asked you if you'd like me to give you a tour of the manor." He explained once again. I felt awfully embarrassed for not hearing him moments ago so I kindly accepted. "Of course, Alois." I smiled. Alois grinned as he walked up to a door. As Alois went on and on throughout the tour, all I did to respond was nod in acknowledgement. I was more focused on my thoughts again that some tour. I was so caught up in the wave of thoughts flowing through my mind, Alois scared me when I felt him gently nudge me. "And this is the grand staircase." He smiled. My eyes widened in awe. "Oh my... This is.. Ama-" I was suddenly cut off by the sound of a knife sinking into the wall. I slowly turned my head over to the butter knife lodged in the wall. I hesitantly trailed over to the single piece of silverware, pulling it free from the wall. "I know this..." I said slowly as I examined the silver knife. This was the same silverware I used for dinner at the Phantomhive manor. That could only mean...

"Good evening, Trancy..." The deep voice called, making a shiver run up my spine. Alois froze in his tracks, his eyes wide. I slowly turned around, looking at Alois, then down to the figure below. The familiar black suit and ravenous hair gave away exactly who it was. "S-Sebastian...." I gasped. In the blink of an eye, the tall butler disappeared from where he stood at the bottom of the stairs, appearing behind me. I gasped when he scooped me up in his arms. Alois gasped. "Claude!" He called out. The nearly identical butler came rushing out with quick strides. "Yes, highne-" He stopped dead in his tracks when he spotted his enemy standing before him, carrying me in his arms. "Sebastian Michaelis..." He said lowly, pushing his glasses up. Sebastian grinned. "Claude Faustus..." He echoed Claude's tone of voice. "Stop him from taking Eve!" Alois demanded, his shocking blue eyes narrowed furiously. I let out a quick gasp as Sebastian quickly moved off. "If you leave the girl, I may just let you go alive, Michaelis..." Claude growled, his golden eyes turned a fuchsia color. Sebastian's eyes mimicked Claude's. "I'm afraid I can't leave her here. Strict order from my master..." He responded calmly. Claude tucked his glassed in a small pocket in his tailcoat. One moment later, he lashed his arm out, whipping golden knives at Sebastian. "Oh dear... I'll have to fix that later..." Sebastian sighed, looking at the hole in his tailcoat.

Sebastian didn't hesitate to send his silver knives flying at Alois, causing me to shut me eyes, not wanting to see the outcome. I heard Alois' gasp then clattering silverware. While Sebastian had Claude occupied, he took the chance to flee the Trancy manor. I remained in his arms as he sped through the trees, dodging them with ease. "Dear me... It seems you've been kidnapped already... I should've watched out for our enemies... Terribly sorry, madam." He said, kindness filled his voice. I stayed silent, staring at my knees the entire time. I only gave the tall butler a nod in acknowledgement. I slowly placed my unharmed hand on my chest, over my heart to feel it beating rapidly. I was clearly breathing heavily at the sudden outbreak. Shakily, I raised my injured hand, looking at the white bandaging. "What happened to your wrist, if I might ask." He asked me out of curiosity. I only shook my head. "It's nothing..." I spoke softly.

The whole trip back to the manor was quicker than I hoped. I honestly didn't feel like facing Ciel right now. Who knows how he might react knowing I was kidnapped by the Trancy household. I slowly closed my eyes, hoping, just hoping, that all of this will go by quickly...

Hey guys! ^-^ I hope you liked this chapter... It seriously took me forever to write this, and honestly, I think I could've done better than it is now, but it's the best I could come up with at the moment... Thank you all for reading this! I honestly didn't think this would become this popular so fast. (Well... Popular to me, having over 400 reads, nearly at 500 reads, is more than I've ever had actually. o_o) I'm just glad you all are liking this so much! I'll try to post the next chapter when I can. Between School, Homework and being on the badminton team doesn't help me any when it comes to writing anything...
