Normani's POV

"I take thee at thy word" I hear Lauren say

She startles me, causing me to scream loudly and lose balance. She grabs onto my waist and we fall into the pool. Once we reach the surface I wipe my eyes and look directly at her.

"Art thou not Lauren, and a Jauregui?" I ask

"Neither fair maid, if either thee dislike" She says

"How camest thou hither, tell me, and wherefore. The garden walls are high and hard to climb, And the place death, considering who thou art." I say

"With love's light wings did I o'er-perch these walls; for stony limits cannot hold love out, and what love can do that dares love attempt; therefore thy kinsmen are no let to me" She says while shouting towards the end

I grab her and push her underwater, moving out of view of the camera. The security guard comes out and I give him a nervous smile, he smiles back and walks back in the house. I pull Lauren up and she gasps for air.

"If they do see thee, they will murder thee" I mumble

"I have night's cloak to hide me from their eyes, and but thou love me, let them find me here. My life were better ended by their hate, than death prorogued, wanting of thy love." She says softly

My back hits the ledge of the pool and we hold strong eye contact. I hold on to the back of her neck, her hands cupping my face, I softly kiss her and she brings my face closer. Her sweet scent and her tender touch, causing me to get goosebumps. Her addicting kisses that leave me dizzy and wanting more. Those eyes that pop out in the night light. The soft, yet raspy voice she consumes, all enough to draw me in, everlasting.

"Thou know'st the mask of night is on my face, else would a maiden blush bepaint my cheek for that which thou hast heard me speak tonight fain would I dwell on form, fain, fain deny what I have spoke, but
farewell compliment! Dost thou love me? I know thou wilt say 'Ay,' and I will take thy word, yet if thou swear'st, thou mayst prove false. O gentle Lauren, If
thou dost love, pronounce it faithfully" I mumble

She moves in to kiss me again but I stop her.

"Lady, by yonder blessed moon I swear that tips with silver all these fruit-tree tops-"

"O, swear not by the moon, the inconstant moon. That monthly changes in her circled orb, lest that thy love prove likewise variable." I say

"Well what shall I swear by?" She chuckles

"Do not swear at all; Or, if thou wilt, swear by thy gracious self, which is the god of my idolatry, and I'll believe thee." I say lowly, gazing into her eyes

"If my hearts dear love..." She trials off

We kiss again and I stop it before it goes too far.

"Although I joy in thee, I have no joy of this contract tonight. It is too rash, too unadvised, too sudden; too like the lightning, which doth cease to be ere one can say 'It lightens.' Sweet, good night!" I say while kissing her yet again

"This bud of love, by summer's ripening breath, may prove a beauteous flower when next we meet. Good night." I say, almost inaudible as she kisses my cheek multiple times then my neck

I let out a small moan and she tries to pin me again, I grab onto the ladder, climbing out the pool.

"O, wilt thou leave me so unsatisfied?" She asks

"What satisfaction canst thou have tonight?" I ask with much confusion

"The exchange of thy love's faithful vow for mine" She says

"I gave thee mine before thou didst request it!" I smile

I kiss her again and we fall back into the pool.

"Normani!" Ari calls my name from afar

We get out the pool and go to a corner.

"Three words, dear Lauren, and good night indeed. If that thy bent of love be honourable, thy purpose marriage, send me word tomorrow, by one that I'll
procure to come to thee, where and what time thou
wilt perform the rite; and all my fortunes at thy
foot I'll lay and follow thee my lord throughout the
world." I say

"Normani!"

"I uh, by and by I come!" I yell

"But if thou mean'st not well, I do beseech thee-"

"Normani!"

"By and by, I come!"

"To cease thy strief, and leave me to my grief, tomorrow will I send." I say

I make my way up the steps and look back at her.

"So thrive my soul" She mumbles

"A thousand times good night!" I smile

"A thousand times the worse, to want thy light" She says

We kiss on last time and I take note to keep good memory of it.

"Normani!"

We pull away and Lauren drops down just before she can see and I wave at her. I start to walk in but quickly turn around, forgetting something.

"Lauren! At what o'clock tomorrow shall I send to thee?" I whisper

"By the hour of nine" She grins

"I will not fail, ''tis twenty year till then" I say

"Goodnight" I smile

She climbs the ladder halfway and I drop my necklace down to her. She looks at me and blows a kiss, taking off towards the fence.

"Parting is such sweet sorrow, that I shall say goodnight till it be morrow"
