Lauren's POV

"Good morrow Tori" I smile

"Benedicite! What early tounge so sweet saludeth me?" She asks, her attention still on the 2 little kids she's with

"Good morrow Lauren" They beam

"Good morrow" I wave

"Young child, it argues a distemper'd head so soon to bid good marrow to thy bed; or if not so so, then here I hit it right, our Lauren hath not seen her bed
tonight." She says

"The last is true; the sweeter rest was mine." I say

"God pardon sin, was thou with Victoria!?" She asks

"Thou know'st we were not together" I smirk

"The other" She chuckles

"Victoria? No, I have forgot that name, and that name's woe." I say

"But where hast thou been?" She asks

"I have been feasting with mine enemy, where on a sudden one hath wounded me, that's by me wounded; both our remeidies within thy help and holy physic lies." I say, holding eye contact so she can see how serious I am

"Be plain and homely in thy drift; riddling confession finds but riddling shrift." She says

"Then plainly know my hearts dear love is set, on the fair daughter of rich Hamilton. We met, we wooed, we made exchange of vow. I'll tell thee as we pass; but this I pray, that thou consent to marry us today." I plead

She stares at me with wide eyes and tilts her head.

"What a change is here! Is Victoria that thou didst love so dear so soon forsaken? Young Woman's love then lies not truly in her heart but in her eyes." She says

"Thou chid'st me oft for loving Victoria" I scoff

"For doting; not for loving, pupil mine." She says while rolling her eyes

"I pray thee" I say while crossing my heart

She walks away and I follow her.

"Whom I love now doth grace for grace and love for love allow; the other did not so." I say

"Come, young waverer, come, go with me, in one respect I'll thy assistant be; for this alliance may so happy prove, to turn you household rachor to pure love." She says after a short period of silence

"O, let us hence; I stand on sudden haste!" I yell with excitement

I start to run off but slide and fall, laughing loudly I attempt to get up but a small object falls on my leg; causing me to laugh harder.

"Wisely and slow; they stumble that run fast." She laughs
