Normani's POV

I look over to Ariana with curious eyes as she tells me she has news. I wait for her to continue but she smirks and turns around.

"O Ari what news?" I whine

"I am a-weary, give me leave awhile. Fie, how my bones ache! What a jaunt have I!" She says

"You're of young age; play not and do tell good news" I chuckle

"What haste? can you not stay awhile? Do you not see that I am out of breath?" She asks

"Thou didn't have to walk, how art thou out of breath, when thou hast breath to say to me that thou art out of breath? Is the news good, or bad? Answer to that" I say

"Well, you have made a simple choice; you know not how to choose a person. Lauren! no, not she; though her face be better than anyone's, yet her leg excels all; and for a hand, and a foot, and a body." She smirks

I smile at her while thinking about Lauren, who I so desperately want to see. Ariana's laughter breaks me from my thoughts and I clear my mind.

"But all this did I know before. What says she of our
marriage? What of that?" I plead

"Lord, how my head aches! What a head have I! O, my back!" She groans

I hold back my laugh at her attempt to stall and go massage her back since it WAS a long walk.

"Other side, O, my back" She whines

Yea yea, sure.

"I am sorry that thou art not well. Sweet, sweet, sweet Ari, tell me, what says my love?" I smile

"Your love says, like an honest woman, and a
courteous, and a kind, and a beautiful, and, I
warrant, a virtuous,-Where is your mother?" She asks

"Where is my mother! How oddly thou repliest! Your love says, like an honest woman, Where is your
mother?" I ask, getting fed up

She stands up and walks to the other side of the room.

"O lady dear! Are you so hot? Henceforward do your messages yourself." She says

She walks up the stairs and I stand at the bottom, watching her.

"Here's such a coil! Come, what says Lauren?" I ask

"Have you got leave to go to confession today?" She asks

"I have"

"Then hie you hence to Mother Victoria's cell; There
stays a wife to make you a wife" She smiles

A few tears escape her eyes and she pulls me in for a hug as her smile gets wider. I hug her back, smiling big.

**********************************************

"Someday a spirit will take you and guide you there. I know you've been hurting but I've been waiting to be there for you. And I'll be there just helping you out whenever I can. Everybody's free." The choir sing

"These violent delights have violent ends. And in their triumph die; like fire and powder, which as they kiss consume. The sweetest honey is loathsome in it's own deliciousness. Therefore love moderatley. Lauren, shall thank the daughter for us both." Tori says

We place the rings on each other's fingers while she was talking. Once Tori is done talking, Lauren places her hand on my cheek and presses her lips onto mine.
