Y/n POV
I woke up with something warm wrapped around my hand. I slowly opened my eyes to see Carl holding my hand while he was sleeping. I blushed a bit having the feeling he already cares. I shake the thought out of my head, not ready to get close to anyone.
I pull my hand away slowly trying not to wake him; after I got free I stood up and stretched my body. I walk out the door we were in to find a a hallway with a couple rooms and a stairway. I opened the door across from the room I was in to find a babies room. The room was very cute and simple, I walked forward slowly and look at the peaceful baby sleeping in the crib when I felt a arm around my neck. I push back into him as I was about to scream before covering my mouth remembering the sleeping baby. I dropped my body down, escaping this persons grip and turned around quickly. I saw a man probably thirtyish staring down at me with caution. "How'd you get in here?" He whispered with anger. "C-carl brought me back and I passed out. I woke up here." He stopped and raised a finger to me indicating I was to say there and stormed out of the room. I did the exact opposite because this was my chance.
I took my opportunity and ran down the stairs and outside. People started looking at me especially a pretty girl with long brown hair. I ran away from the people who were frozen, wondering who I was and what I was running from. I hope I don't cause a panic but I need to get out. I ended up at one of the walls. I started to climb the wall when my waist was grabbed by a pair of strong arms, pulling me down. I lost my footing when the mystery man caught me.
I started to kick my feet "Let me go!" I screamed. "Y/n stop it's me" I froze at the familiar voice. I started to tear up and the person set me down and released his arms which were crossed around my waist me, I took a deep breath, almost believing it, but there was no chance it's him is there? I slowly turned around, my heart jumping out of my chest to see exactly who I thought he was.
