Y/N POV
I woke up to complete darkness. I stood up and felt around the room to find the window I had seen earlier. When I opened the curtains the moon instantly brighten the room with a soft light.
I sat back on the bed when I suddenly felt very uncomfortable. I looked around the room feeling as if someone was watching me. I heard a floor board creak and my instincts kicked in. I run out of the room and down the street. I got to the enormous wall surrounding the place and started to climb once again. When I got to the top I didn't go over immediately, I just sat there taking in the view of the entire place. I heard something move down beneath me and I almost fell backwards. I balanced myself and then looked down to see Carl. "Are you crazy? What are you doing? Get down!" He said frantically. "Hey, I might be." And with that I dropped off the side and started climbing down.
As soon as I felt my boots hit the soft dirt I started running. I heard Carl drop down from the fence and chuckled quietly. Where should I go? I squinted to see what looked like an outline of a cabin and ran towards it. I reached the porch out of breath and put my hands on my knees. Jeez how far did I run it didn't look far? I turned around towards the woods and was slammed against the wall by my shoulders.
" What are you doing? We need to get back. Come on" Carl took my wrist and started dragging me towards Alexandria. "Carl! Please!" He stopped walking and turned around, "Do you have a death wish y/n? Because that's what's going to happen if you stay out here, or go out without backup. Think about it" I looked at the ground and kicked the dirt. " No, I know, I just, I'm kinda a lone wolf. I don't belong in a group. Every group I've been in has been bad; but something is keeping me here." Carl looked at me with sympathy. "Is it because of Glenn?" I looked in his eyes "No.."
