      Carl and I were still sitting on the couch. Me nuzzled in his chest, his arms wrapped around me. Every once and a while he would whisper sweet little things in my ear, things like you're beautiful. Most of the time I just moved closer to him.
     We had been sitting in that position for a while, I don't really know how long but I know I didn't want it to end. I pulled away from him when I heard a gasp and an "aw" I looked up to see Glenn and Maggie standing in the hallway staring at us. I gave Glenn a deathly glare and he quickly started to walk away. Maggie soon followed, after they were gone there was still  a faint and blush left on my cheeks. Carl looked at me, smiling slightly.
"What?" I asked defensively.
"Oh nothing, you just look so cute when your flustered." Carl said with a bigger smile. I blushed a deep red, punched his shoulder, and mumbled a quiet "shut up"

The next day~
I was laying in my bed when someone knocked on my door. " Hey y/n, me, Carl, Rick, and Daryl are going on a run. Wanna come?" I heard Glenn say from outside the door.
I jumped up and opened the door.
"Sure, just let me get proper clothes on." I said gesturing to my pjs. He laughed slightly, walking away.
I changed quickly and ran down stairs, rushing out the door. I walked to the gate when I saw Carl, I walked a little bit quicker, trying to get to him. When we reached each other I enveloped him in a huge hug.
"Woah there y/n we just saw each other last night." He said hugging me tight. I pulled away, blushing slightly.
"I know I just, I don't want anything to happen on this run and you not know how much I care about you." I said, looking down while mumbling slightly. "Y/n you don't have to worry about that, I won't let anything happen to you." He said while lifting my chin up so I was looking at him. I shifted my weight from my left foot to my right and rubbed my arm slowly.
"It's not me I'm worried about. I've grown to care about you so much in our time together, I don't know what I would do without you." He stared at me in shock after he processed what I just said to him. He tilted his head slightly to left and smirked a little bit.
"Y/n?" My eyes widened slightly, my whole body eager to hear what he was going to say next.
"Are you trying to say you love me?" He chuckled. I started to blush and stutter my words.
"W-what? N-no, I mean I don't know" He cut off my rambling by kissing me softly. I didn't react at first but as soon as I realized what he was doing I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him closer. He pulled away and looked me deeply in the eye.
"I love you too y/n" He said, blushing at his own statement.
"Aye! Stop bein love birds and get in the RV!" We heard Daryl yell from somewhere by the RV. We both laughed and started to head for the truck. On the way Carl grabbed my hand, I smiled even bigger.
