you walked along forest path, the sun glaring down on you and the brown dirt beneath your feet, the green trees by your side. jasper walked alongside you, having left his camp early enough so that you could spend the day together because his people didn't like your people, so they hated you. you both wished you didn't have to sneak around but the grounders and the sky people were at war which meant your relationship was not aloud.
a two headed deer jumped out from a canopy of trees, it ran along in front of you, jasper screamed and flinched backwards still not used to the wonders of the earth.
"i hate this planet."
he moaned as you laughed at him. gasping at his statement playfully, you put your hand on your heart.
"but you met me on it."
he smiled at your words and moved closer to you, wrapping his arm around your shoulder and smiling down at you.
