14. Making Memories?

MANIK'S POV

The wedding date was fixed after 4 months on 14 Feb and it was decided that it will be a destination wedding.

Since the time Nandini and her family heard the wedding date , they all were sad , though they were pretending to be happy in front of me , Khushi bhabhi & Arnav bhai but still we knew that we were not ok. Even when I asked the priest for any other Date for wedding but Nandini and her family refused.

Its had been an hour since the priest left but Nandini & Abhimanyu didn't utter a word since then. Even Mukti ,
Aadarsh & Abhay joined us as we were sitting in Abhimanyu's room trying to talk to them but it seemed as if they were in their own world and we were not even visible or audible to them.

I think before the wedding they need some time together.
Khushi bhabhi said as were looked at her thinking about her idea.
I think Khushi is right , if they spend some family time together and make lots of memories then it will be a nice outing and distraction for them.
Arnav bhai was right , it was necessary for the Khanna's to spend some family time together.
I think we should go and talk to Chacha & Chachi.
Aadarsh said as we all nodded and went to Chacha and Chachi leaving Nandini and Abhimanyu behind and we were sure that they didnt even notice that we were leaving.

Oh come on Chachi we are just asking for a family vacation!
We all were trying our level best to convince Chacha & Chachi to go on a family vacation but they were not ready.
Chachi its just a matter of one week!
Khushi bhabhi tried to explain but Chachi is a hard nut to crack.
Kids the wedding is in four months away and we have to do lots of preparations so its not possible for us to go on a vacation.
Chachi tried to explain us but whatever we are asking is for their good so we won't back off.
Chachi come with me.
I said dragging Chachi to Abhimanyu's room where Nandini and Abhimanyu were.
Look at them , just look at them. They haven't spoken anything since the priest has given us the wedding dates , please we are requesting you to take them on a vacation so that you all get sometime together before the wedding.
I could see tears in Chachi's eyes as she went downstairs and all we could do was to wait.

It was 11:30 pm now and no one wanted to leave so all of then decided to stay.

All night we were just sitting in Nandini's room thinking what will Chacha and Chachi say , and how will Nandini and Abhimanyu react to it , thinking all this we didn't even knew and it was already morning.

We came down to see Chacha & Chachi sitting on the breakfast table waiting for all of us.

Good morning Chachaji & Chachi.
We all greeted as they greeted us back smiling.
Where are Abhi and Nandu?
Chachi asked as we looked down.
Don't worry I'll go and call them.
Chachi was about to get up when we saw Abhi & Nandini coming downstairs .
Good Morning everyone.
They greeted as we all smiled and greeted them back.
Nandu , Abhi I want to talk to you guys about something.
Chachi started.
Yes Chachi...
Nandini replied as Chachi started.
Me and Nachiket have decided that we'll go on a family vacation next week , so you both go and pack your bags we are going to Manali.
I could see a smile appear on both Nandini & Abhimanyu's faces.
Means Manik , Arnav Jiju , Khushi , Aadarsh bhai , Aaliya bhabhi , Abhay bhai , Mukti , Anjali di and everyone will go??
Nandini asked excited.
Um , Nandini , family vacation means just you four..
I replied concentrating on my food not looking at her.
Ji nhi.
We all looked at Chachi confused as she along with Chachaji smiled.
Family vacation means we all are going , including the Malhotra , Raizada & Singha family.
We all looked at Chachi shocked while Nandini jumped in happiness.
Then I'll go and pack my cloths , sorry Manik I can't pack your cloths as you dont have your winter wears here.
Saying this she ran off to her room as all we could do was to smile looking at her , it was her smile that all mattered to all of us.

Yeah mom , no no pack anything that you want to.....yeah i'll be home at 7 pm......no Nandini has a holiday today so she is at home and I am in office.
I spoke to my mom as she asked me about the stuff that I would like her to pack on my behalf.

I was taking to mom when I heard a knock on the door.

Mom , I'll speak to you later , see you in the evening..Bye , love you.

Come in.
I ordered after ending the call as my PA entered and handed me some files that needed my signatures urgently.

I was busy in reading a file when I felt two arms encircle my neck and I immediately knew who it was.

Don't you know its bad manners to enter someone's cabin without knocking.
I said caressing the soft arms that were around my neck.

Well entering my husband's cabin without knocking is my right and who the hell are you to ask me that.
I smiled at her talk as I gently pulled her in my laps with one swift moment as she giggled.

What? Why are you giggling?
I asked smiling.
I knew you would do it and see you proved me right.
I smiled at her innocent talks as I locked her hairs behind her ears that were blocking my view of her beautiful glowing smiling face.
How come you are here?
I asked her as she placed her head on my chest as I cuddled her.
You are going to your house today right so I thought to accompany you , I haven't been there since our wedding and as I was coming here instead of coming here in the evening I came here right away to have lunch with you...
She took care of me and my family so much. Every day she talks to my parents , takes care of all my needs , makes sure that I dont miss my family while my stay at her house & does everything possible to make me feel special. I don't even knew what I did to get her as my life partner. All I can do is to learn a new thing every day from her .

Hey girls I know you might think what crap I have written and how badly its written but I dont know what's up with me , I just couldn't concentrate , I promise you all that next update will be up to the mark but still tell me guys what did you all think blab out this update.
