12. My Dream come true!

Nandini's POV

I was on my way to the venue of my engagement with Abhi Bhai while Chacha & Chachi were in the different car.
During the whole car ride Abhi bhai was holding my hands tightly as if I'll disappear or go away from him , I didn't understand why he was so emotional today , it is just an engagement after which I'll be back home with him but no he was super emotional! I even asked Chachi about it but she told me that it was the last day when they could say that I am just theirs and this is the only thing because of which all of them are so emotional.
We reached the venue and it was soo beautiful just like I imagined my engagement venue to be.

II knew that Arnav Bhai & Aadarsh Bhai must have done all this as I looked at them and they were just smiling at me and I smiled back and continued to walk beside Abhimanyu Bhai as my gaze got fixed at the man standing in front of Me in a black tuxedo who was soon going to be my fiancee .

As soon as we reached the stage Bhai left my hand while Manik offered his hand to me , I was nervous in holding his hand when Bhai took my hand and placed it in his while there was a huge applause as I went to stand beside Manik while Bhai went to stand with Chacha and Chachi.

Soon we were sitting for the Roka ceremony as both our families completed the rituals as I got lots of jeweleries , dresses etc which Mukti was placing neatly in a suitcase.

Manik's POV

Since the time Nandini entered the venue I couldn't take my eyes off her! She is looking soo beautiful as if a fairy as come down to earth!

After the Roka ceremony was done it was finally the time for my surprise to unveil though I didn't had any idea that how would Nandini react to it but I wanted to do it! I am ready to get slapped if she doesn't likes the surprise but if she liked it then it will be the happiest day of my life!

I saw Nandini talking to her friends at a distance so now it was the time to execute my plan. I took the mike and made my way to the stage.

May I have your attention everyone! As you all know its my and Nandini's engagement ceremony and before we get engaged I want to tell something to her.
There was a huge applause that encouraged me to continue.
Nandini I never imagined this even in my wildest dreams that I'll say this to anyone in my life but today I need to tell you this , ever since I saw you coming downstairs with Abhimanyu laughing on something that was the moment I fell for you! I know its sounds filmy but that's the truth and after that when you understood my position and even supported in that I knew that you are the one for me! And then we started meeting I couldn't stop myself from falling for you more and more and today I want to tell you something and ask you something.
I reached near her as she was looking at me with Eagerness , confusion , happiness , that blush on her face. I took her hands into mine as I went down on my one knee that shocked her and even the guests but not our families.
'Manik what are you doing get up!'
I heard her as I smiled and nodded a no.
Miss Nandini Khanna today I want to confess this that I LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU ALOT AND I'LL ALWAYS LOVE YOU KNOW MATTER WHAT! And I just want to ask you that WILL YOU MARRY ME?? RIGHT HERE , RIGHT NOW?!
I could hear loud gasps but I ignored them as my eyes were just fixed on one face that was now confused , shocked and she had tears in her eyes as she looked at her Chacha Chachi & brother who nodded a yes smiling as she looked back at me and now tears were flowing from her eyes as she made me standup and immediately hugged me.
I Will! I Will Marry You! And I Love You Too!
She whispered.
Everyone clasped and cheered as I twirled her around as all our friends joined our hug!

It was finally the moment! The father was standing and we were on his either sides while he started the wedding procedure while we repeated after him whenever he asked as to and all this time we were just lost in each other and finally I heard the thing I was dying to hear!
Mr Manik Malhotra do you accept Ms Nandini Khanna as your legally wedded wife?
Father asked me.
I do!
I replied as everyone cheered.
Ms Nandini Khanna do you accept Mr Manik Malhotra as your husband?
I saw her blush as the Father asked her this as she whispered a 'I do' and we made each other wear the rings as everyone cheered out loud.
Now you may kiss the bride!
I looked at the Father , then our parents who were giving me a naughty smile alongside with our friends and siblings! I finally looked at Nandini who was blushing hard as I pulled her closer and gently pecked her cheeks while everyone cheered and we blushed!

Nandini's POV

I couldn't believe my ears when Manik asked me to get married to him right there! It was my dream to get surprised on my engagement day but I never thought of getting this surprise! I looked at Chacha Chachi & BhaI and they nodded in a yes and I couldn't control myself as I hugged him tight telling him that I will marry him.

As soon as we got married realization hit me and Now I knew why Bhai was soo emotional , I was so engrossed in my thoughts about leaving my family right Now only that I didn't realize that tears were flowing from my eyes as I started aimlessly somewhere when I felt Manik shaking me.

Yes..you were saying something?
I asked and turned towards him only to find him worried.
Nandini what's wrong?? Why are you ???
He asked cupping my face as I realized that my cheeks were wet.
No no I am not crying something just Went in my eyes.
I said looking down not meeting his eye.
Nandini if we got legally married today doesn't means that you have to leave your house and come to mine ,no! You will come to our house only when we get married with all the rituals! Now stop crying my beautiful baby wife!
I couldn't help but to smile and hug him as I was really overwhelmed with his love and care for Me that the world didn't mattered to me at this moment
And I just wanted to make him understand that how happy and thankful I am!
