25. Its Christmas time!

Manik and Nandini were still im bed all cuddled up with each other when Nandini phone rang, Nandini was half asleep so Manik picked up the call.
Hi Abhi, how are you?
Manik greeted in a hushed voice.
I am fine Manik but what's up with you? What happened to your voice?
Manik smiled at Abhi"s question as he pecked Nandini's forehead.
Your sister is half asleep so I don't want to wake her up.
Abhimanyu smiled knowing that this would be the first time that Nandini will get a proper sleep after 10 long days.
Ok then, I will call you both later, good night!
Abhimanyu teased Manik as he smiled and ended the call.
Who's call was it?
Nandini asked in a sleepy voice.
Abhimanyu, but he'll call later, you sleep now.
Manik said careesing het hair as she snuggled more into him.
Nandini, you sleep and i'll be back in an hour.
Nandini looked at him with her sleepy eyes demanding an answer as he smiled and pecked her lips.
I need to go and get some grocery, we don't have anything to eat.
Nandini giggled and then nodded her head indicating him to go.
I'll be back before you wake up, ok.
Nandini nodded and snuggled into the duvet as Manik got ready and left.

Bhai, Madhyam is out of country so I have appointed a detective to keep an eye on him.
Abhay told Aadarsh as they we're sitting in the garden area of their house.
That's good but where is this Madhyam? And for how long is he gone?
Aadarsh asked sipping his coffee.
He is in London for some business deal and he will most probably return in a week or two.
Aadarsh nodded as they continued discussing about the work and stuff.

Nandini wake up, its 12, you need to eat something.
Manik tried to wake her up but she wasn't ready to.
Manik I am not hungry, i'll have something after sometime, now let me sleep!
Nandini requested as she hid her face with the duvet.
Nandini please have something and then go to sleep, you have to take your medicines.
Manik tried again.
Manik i'll have it later! For now let me sleep, I am jet legged.
Manik smiled at her excuse and then gently picked her up in his arms and took her to the living room and made her sit on the sofa.
Manik! This is not fair! I won't talk to you, go away.
Manik smiled hearing her and kissed her pout before getting up to get her food.
At first when Nandini saw him getting up she was shocked as she felt that Manik was really going but then he kissed her and went straight to the kitchen which made her relax as she again put on the angry face.
Nandini, come on now eat this.
Manik forwarded her the plate but she turned her face to the other side.
Manik got up and went to the other side and Nandini again turned her face to the other side.
Manik now got up and sat down in front of her and made her face him.
You are angry on me that's fine but don't remove your anger on food, come on now eat this and then take your medicines.
Nandini again pouted as she opened her mouth indicating him to feed her, as Manik smiled and then fed her.

After having their food, Nandini decided to go and get their Christmas shopping done as Manik had done nothing and it was 21st December.

You know what Manik, let's get a Christmas tree.
Manik nodded his head in approval as Nandini ran towards the section where different kinds of fake trees were displayed.
After a lot of search, Nandini finally found a tree that she loved and Manik loved it too so they decided to get it.
Now its time for the ornaments to decorate the tree.
Nandini exclaimed as she ran towards the section where the ornaments we're displayed, after shopping for the ornaments it was the time for the gifts.
Manik you go that side and i'll go this side to buy to presents, and no cheating! And yes please buy yourself a Christmas stocking, and we'll meet side the mall in 2 hours.
It was the first time that Manik was going to celebrate Christmas properly so he didn't knew many things that he got yo know now.
I don't know what they are, so you only get it for me.
Manik requested as Nandini smiled and nodded, they then turned and went to get each other the best gifts.
