5. His biggest fan?

Manik , Nandini , Arnav & Khushi were sitting in a five star restaurant while Manik & Arnav were busy in their official talks Nandini & Khushi were getting bored.

Nandini you know what , I think we should leave , let them both enjoy their business talks till then we'll go have our lunch and then come back. What's say??
Arnav and Manik immediately looked at Khushi with a puppy face as they knew that they had digged their grave themselves.
I think you are right khushi we should leave.
Nandini too supported Khushi as she was very much hungry but was not able to order anything because of the two people sitting in front of her.
Ok we are sorry girls please don't get angry & let's order something.
Arnav apologized as Khushi & Nandini smiled and immediately told him their choice.
Manik a South Indian platter for you right?
Arnav asked before Manik could even tell him his choice.

Manik asked smiling.

Khushi & Nandini smiled looking at their bond while Arnav placed the order.

During the whole lunch Manik and Nandini were quiet and were only answering when Arnav or Khushi asked them something.

Arnav sensed their quietness and decided to leave them alone , so that they get to know each other. He looked at Khushi trying to gain her attention but she was busy in blabbering while Manik and Nandini were silently listening her.
Arnav was thinking how to gain Khushi's attention when his phone rang and it displayed "DI" and he immediately answered the call.

Ya di.......you want us home now? Ok if its something important then we'll be home in half an hour...yes we'll be on time....ok bye.
Arnav kept down the phone and saw all three of them looking at him.

He asked.

Manik asked

She is calling me and Khushi home , she needs to share something important.
Arnav answered as they nodded.

Soon they completed the Kuch and Arnav and Khushi left for Raizada Mansion.

Nandini its 4 already , come I'll drop you home.
Manik said as soon as they came out of the restaurant while Nandini smiled at his care.
It's ok Manik , I'll call my driver.
Nandini answered smiling.
No Nandini its my responsibility to drop you home safely as I called you for the lunch.
Nandini smiled and nodded her head in approval as Manik's car arrived and they both left for her home.

The journey was a silent one as they both enjoyed the songs that played on the radio and finally after a drive of 20 minutes they reached Nandini's house.

So when will you be free?
Manik asked as soon as Nandini got down of the car.
Um around 11pm , why??
Manik smiled looking at her confused face.
So that I can call my soon to be wife without any disturbance.
Nandini blushed hearing him as she ran inside her house just muttering a bye while Manik smiled looking at her as she waved him bye from her main door.

Nandini's POV
As soon as entered Chachi came running to me and informed me that my engagement was fixed next week on friday. This thought only made goosebumps run through my body as I went to my room and changed to my night cloths though it was just 5 pm.

I was lying on my bed thinking about the day , about all the events that took place today.

Manik is a good person , he is soo close to his Bhai and bhabhi and he even dropped me home in time and never tried to come close to me or anything , he made me so comfortable that I didn't even feel that it was the second time I was meeting him.
But wait a minute , Khushi knew how crazy I am for Manik still she didn't tell me that he is her brother in law.

I was soo angry on Khushi that I immediately called Khushi and soon blasted on her as soon as she picked up the call.
You fool , you moron , kamini , you bitch , I want want to kill you!! You knew how crazy I am for Manik still you didn't tell me that he is your brother in law!!!! Matlab how dare you Mrs Khushi Arnav Singh Raizada?!!! Wait I'll tell your in-laws that how much you trouble me then they'll scold you!!!
I was continuously blabbering not giving the person on the other hand chance to speak.

Nandini!
Shit! I knew this voice! It was of Manik , I immediately checked the number but it was of Khushi only.

He..hello!
I said in a shaky voice.

Relax Nandini , its me Manik.
His voice was calm & cool , I didn't knew what he would be thinking about me.

Actually Bhabhi and Bhai are busy with the family members and bhabhi told me to keep her phone with me and answer calls on her behalf.
I was so angry on Khushi , first for hiding the fact that Manik is her brother in law & now for this.

Um Manik just tell her to call me back whenever she'll be free ok bye.
I immediately ended the call as I couldn't think of anything else.
