I had finally given up on ever finding my mate. i've been waiting for the last three years for him to find me. once we turn fifteen we can find our mate. As soon as our eyes meet we can feel it, but i've given up hope on ever finding him. once a month all the unmated females come together to get ready for the visting group of umated males. it was the same every month. i would waste my time getting all dolled up with the rest of the girls just to watch them all meet their mates. Most people find their mates within the first year and nearly all within two but i was one of the very rare one's that take longer. last time this happened it turned out the girls mate had been killed before even meeting her. we were never told what happened to her. i have over heard the elders talking about me a number of times wondering if i'll ever meet him but there not very positive, but can i really give up waiting?
