Chapter 14

            As scheduled, they made a scene at the swimming gala in front of everyone. Kamilla was glad that Robbie was cheering for his friend and did not pay any attention to the adults.

Samuel left Kamilla at the swimming stadium, saying that she had hurt him and he would not keep any contact with her. He told everyone that she was seeing another man, i.e, Phil who was coming to spend his holidays at her place.

Upon hearing the name of Phil, Tina was surprised. When she asked Kamilla why is Phil coming and at the same Matthew asked her and James if they could keep Robbie at their place that night because he had to discuss with Kamilla. No one paid attention to her. Kamilla who was nearer to her, told her that she would call her later to explain.

After the competition, Robbie was happy to go to Timmy's place and his father promised that he would come later to see him after he would drop Kamilla home.

As soon as she entered her home, Matthew asked her:

- Who is this Phil?

- Someone I met years before.

- So why is he not with you instead of Samuel?

- At that time, he was married and could not leave his wife.

- You kept relation with a married man. How disgusting!

- Hey, I also did not know. When things started becoming serious, his wife came to see me. At that time, I was shocked to know he was married. I promised his wife that I would leave him and I came back to my parent's place to Bayston Hill.

- So suddenly he is coming?

- No. Samuel was not here, he came to see me and told me that he has been separated with his wife since one year and wanted to know if I could give him a chance.

- When we met, I don't know what happen. All the memories were still there and I think that I shall give him a chance.

- Wow. You are seriously mad. I told you to live with me so that Robbie can have a family but you refused.

- You and me are not a family to Robbie. You are his father and I'm his

- mother. You came 7 years late.

- Late, hmm. So did Robbie knows anything about him?

- No, he was almost a 2-yr old baby.

- Now, what would you tell my son? That uncle Sam is not coming, there is uncle Phil.

- Sure, why not. I have a life, he must understand me.

- He is a 7-yr old boy, you want him to understand that instead of his father, you are introducing another man in his life. I won't agree.

- Are you saying that I am not a suitable mother?

- No. You are a great mother. I am really proud of my son. You have done a good job with him. But another man.

- What do you suggest? Phil is coming tomorrow and I won't let him to stay at the hotel.

- I'll take Robbie with me, till you take a decision.

- Okay. I'll talk to Robbie, he will be ecstatic when he hears that he will be at your place.

As soon as Matt left her place, Kamilla called Tina and talked to Robbie.

- Hi baby, I am very proud of you. You won.

- Thanks mum. Are you coming to take me home?

- No, son. Your dad will come. You are going to stay with him for a long period.

- Mum, you know I like dad but I will miss you.

- I know. Mummy has a big project to finish and may be I will be going abroad. So your dad asked me to let you be at his place instead of grandma's place.

- Will you call me?

- Sure. Mum loves you. Give me aunty Tina, please.

When Tina came on the phone, she was anxious and asked Kamilla why is Phil coming?

She told him that Phil asked her to design a baby room which is a surprise for his wife, Jenny who is also the sister of James. Samuel was jealous so he created a scene earlier.

Tina asked if she wanted her to talk to Samuel, she told her not to bother as Samuel had already called and they have patched up.

She knew that she was lying to Tina but could not do otherwise as she did not want to endanger her dear ones live.
