8 months, 4 days.
8 months, 4 days.

After 8 months and 4 days I finally received a call. The call to be exact. The one I had been waiting for, for 8 months and 4 days.

"Mikey! Mikey!" Mom rushed into the museum. She was smiling but struggling to hold it seeing as she ran down the hill to see me.

"What's wrong?" worry spread throughout my features as I set the broom up against a display case and moved towards her.

"It's.... Estella. She-... woke up" even in between her pants that struggled to get the statement out I smiled.

"I gotta go" I ran towards the door.

"Wait! Mikey!"

"What?" I turned back to her. She smiled lightly.

"Make sure she comes back to us"

"I will" I ran home and packed everything as quickly as I could. Brand and Andy questioned me but I ignored them. The faster I moved the sooner I get to see her. Brand and Andy followed me out to my truck as I threw my duffel bag in the bed of the truck.

"Mikey! Where are you going?" Data came running out of his house next door as I hopped in the front seat.

"In going to see Estella of course" I said and they smiled as Andy's hand flew up to her mouth.

"I'll expect you'll be right behind me" I winked as I moved the car into drive and skidded down the road. I was gonna see my girl.

14 hours and 32 minutes later.....

I stopped in the parking garage of the hospital. A smile wide on my face. I barely had unbuckled myself before stepping out the car. I had to pee but I had to get to her first. I stopped for nothing but gas.

"Laura! Hi!" I saw the wonderful woman outside the door of Estella's room.

"Mikey! My goodness it's so good to see you" she collected me into her arms.

"My husband and son should be here in a few hours. The doctors are just checking Stella and making sure all is good so we have to wait a bit before going in. Where are the others?" she hit me with information and questions quickly.

"They should be coming soon. I'm not sure when they left. I kinda basically ran as soon as I could when I heard" I said and she chuckled pressing both her hands on either side of my face.

"You don't know how good it is to see you. Way better company than Dale ever was" she said and I laughed hugging her again.

"You may go in now" a doctor said stepping out the room with a nurse. We both swiftly moved in the room where he beautiful brunette sat up and awake. As soon as her head turned to the door and the hazel eyes met mine my heart fluttered. A small smile forming its way on my face.

"Mikey"

"Estella"
