"Listen kid, I've been in this 'world' longer than you have. Ive seen things, terrible things, I've done terrible things.. I don't think you want to be a part of that." He exhales his smoke and taps his cigarette, the ash falling off. He had already ingested a quarter of it.
"You're only 4 years older than me, and you're acting like you're an old man." He tilted his head. "I'm starting to think you're just a lonely dude who thinks he's 80." His lips twitched upwards slightly.
"You don't get it- I used to be somebody.. now I'm just-" he laughed, catching himself. "Not like it matters anyways."
"Why doesn't it matter?"
"Because nothing matters."
He was just rambling, but little did he know Yuri would remember those words for a long time.
