"You know those are going to kill you one day, right?"

Yuri kept asking that same question, because he would always get a different response. Sometimes he said things like,

"Why does it matter?"

"Why do you care?"

"I'm going to die anyways why not now."

And he would casually toss off other answers, not even bothering to explain himself. Not that he needed to explain himself anyways; he was an adult. And despite what Yuri said he could kill himself slowly if he wanted to.

This time, when Yuri asked that same question;

"You know those are going to kill you one day, right?"

He got a different answer than one he was expecting, or a different one compared to the answers he's gotten lately.

"The reasons why I smoke are much worse than the side effects."

"What could possibly be worse than that?" He turned his gaze over to the death stick which he loathed.

The man just sighed. "Yuri, my friend you have a lot to learn."

Yuri couldn't help but smile.
