Hi! Sorry, it's been a while since I last updated. I'm studying for my G.E.D now, so writing will be the last thing on my mind for a while. I'll update more when I can, but there's no promises.  Anyways, I hope you enjoy my latest chapter! And let me know what you think! Okay, I'll leave you alone to read now. Thanks :)

Chapter 6

(Alex's POV)

Alex looked up at Isaac in horror, flattening his ears.

"Are you crazy?" he shouted,"You're going to get yourself killed!"

"Oh, would you just relax? I know what I'm doing."

He, Isaac, and Diana were in the woods in their wolf form, rain pouring down on them. Isaac had convinced the two to come out for a walk with him, claiming he saw something important. At first Alex was hesitant from abandoning his room cleaning, but eventually he left with him to investigate. But as soon as a net trap came into sight, Isaac willingly dove in, startling the both of them. He had explained that he wasn't going to wait for more wolves to disappear, and wanted to go on with one of the plans they had discussed earlier. Diana had to flee to make a phone call to Anjela, and Alex imagined that his sister would be upset upon hearing what he had done.

"I don't think you do," he growled, "It's just me and Diana. That's not enough to jump those men!"

Isaac wriggled in the net a little from discomfort. "No," he agreed, "but you can follow them."

Alex shifted his weight uneasily. He didn't know when these horrible people would come and take him away, and he wasn't sure if he and Diana could even follow them from a safe distance. He didn't say anything for a minute, and eventually he went over to the net.

"What are you doing?" he asked, yelling as the rain became heavier for a moment.

"Getting you out of here!" he called back.

As soon as Alex was under Isaac, he looked around for any breaking points. He stared up and studied the pattern, and after a while he traced down one tie he could cut to let the arrogant teen free. But unfortunately, it was wrapped and tied around carefully with silver thread.

These men sure know what they're doing.

"Don't bother with it!" Isaac snapped, "Don't you trust me?"

"Not really!" he shot back.

Alex looked at the silver coated rope once more. He knew the only way to let Isaac free was to cut it, but with what? He thought for a moment. He didn't have a knife, and his claws were a little dull to cut anything. It then dawned to him that his teeth were the only answer.

"Don't cut that rope," Isaac warned, "This was my decision."

"I don't care that it was your decision. If you end up missing, Anjela will have my hide! Especially since I'm the beta of the pack."

Once he had the guts, he opened his jaws and gripped the rope, thrashing it back and fourth. The silver stung his tongue and the roof of his mouth, so bad that his eyes began to water at the pain.He struggled as he tugged it backwards, but it barely budged. He could now feel the rope digging deeper into his soft flesh, and the pain was almost too much to withstand. Not only that, he felt himself slightly grow weaker, and eventually he had to let it go when his mouth could bare no more. He tumbled back, and once he regained some strength, he peered at the rope and huffed in disappointment. The rope almost looked untouched; only a tiny tear mark remained.

"I can't break it!" he called up, his tongue going limp from the burn.

"Good." he sneered.

"You know, Diana and I can just leave." he pointed out.
