Chapter 8

Halo's POV
So I told Juniper after school that jerks name is Liam. While she laughed I told her about him asking me out and then she stopped laughing and walking. She stared at me intensely," And what did you say?" Crap. She does not like this one bit.

I barely whispered," I said fine." Her eyes almost cam out of their sockets and she screamed," Why in the world would you say yes! To him especially! I thought my speech actually meant something to you I didn't think that it would cause you guys to go out!" I squinted my eyes," I'm so sorry Juniper but I mean I was put on the spot and the only word that cam up to mind was yes."

Then the unexpected happened she smiled at me with a happy twinkle in her eyes. What did I say wrong? Juniper squeeled,"Oh my gosh you know what this means for you?!" I shook my head no not understanding anything she was saying.

"It means that your breaking the non-ability to commit!" I stared at her in disbelief. How could she be saying that?! I mean it's one date it's not like we're getting married!

She jumped up and down she was so happy for me, but for no reason at all! I spat at her," This is only a date and nothing else Juniper and if you think that I'm going to go through that heart-breaking shit again then your wrong."

She stopped jumping and looked at me sadly," Halo you haven't gone in a date for years I know it was hard back then but I helped you pick the pieces up remember? But if this really isn't breaking down your commitment issues then tell me when he touches you what do you feel or even looking at him do you feel butterflies in your stomach or anything that makes your body tingle at all?" I looked at her and processed what she has just said.

All those things have happened to me. I said," Yes maybe that all has happened to me but just give me some time to think about this, because Juniper I really don't want to go back to the time my heart was crushed just please promise me one thing?"

She nodded. " If you see me the happiest I have ever been than you know that it is true, and this isn't even about Liam it's with any other guy you see me with but just promise that if I do get heart broken again will you help me pick the pieces up and go through all that ridiculous stuff we went through together before?"

She shed a tear running giving me a a big hug. She looked back at me," What are best friends for?" I smiled at her and gave her a tight squeeze hug and she returned the favor. Man am I really going through this again if things get serious? Or will I just get another heart break and not be able to love or just like people at all? There's a first for everything right?

Saturday at 2:00 am-
Holy crap the date is in an hour! I need to get dressed like right know. My parents are out of town well actually out of the country. There in an important meeting that might last a week so that gives me free time to do whatever I want. Except for my little sister but they said she is old enough to take care of herself so I just told her that I'm going to Junipers house for a very special occasion.

I went inside my closet and started looking through all my clothes. I don't want to dress to fancy so my dresses got canceled out. But something not to lazy so I decided to put on some black jeggings and a lavender colored t-shirt dress. It had some designs in the front and showed my bare back with lace around it.

I put some mascara on and colored in my eyebrows lightly. Then with a finishing touch of dark purple lipstick. You could see that I was trying to impress Liam. Who can blame a girl? I put my hair into a high bun with some hair sticking in the front and straightened it. Then I put my little diamond earrings and put my black colored DocMartins on. Then I got a text from an unknown person.

Unknown person:
Hey I'm waiting for you outside come out.

I already knew who that was it was Liam. But how exactly did he get my number? Then I realized it.

You:
I'm coming out when you tell me how you got my number.

Unknown:
I have my sources ;)

You:
It was Juniper wasn't it?

Unknown:
Wow XD

I turned my phone off and got my little purse full of only important things like keys, phone, lipgloss, and pepper spray. Hey call me paranoid at least I'm safe. I walked downstairs and told my sister don't answer to anyone and if I don't come back tomorrow then I crashed at Junipers. She nodded. So I walked out and there he was. Wearing jeans and a tight t-shirt showing his muscles and abs.

He caught me looking and smirked," I can tell that you like what you see." I blushed," Whatever dude, let's get going."
He took my hand still smirking and opened his car for me to enter. We were driving for 20 minutes now so I asked," We're exactly are we going?"

He grinned," You'll see." I rolled my eyes wanting to know. A couple minutes later we stopped by a house with very loud music booming out of it. Wait is this what I think it is? He said," We are going to a party!!!!" Oh hell no. I froze not knowing what to say.
