Choosing Is Hard

Chapter 9

Liam's POV
I sat there watching her eyes widen. Did I do something wrong? I asked her," What's wrong?" She stuttered," I uh um." She looked down restarting," Look Liam as much as I want to go in there which is really bad I cannot let that animal out of me." What was she talking about?

I looked at her confused while she began," Liam you have no idea what your going to have to deal with if I even smell alcohol in the air. I go from girl to party animal and it's not good." Woah! She is one of those girls? Can she get any hotter?? I smiled at her," To be honest I think those part animal type of girls are badass."

She grinned widely at me saying," Do you mind not getting drunk so you can like take care of me? Because I'm known for doing crazy crazy stuff." I smirked," Like what?" She blushed," Let's just say that I woke up in jail one time." What the hell did she do?! I guess she is crazy when she's drunk like crazy crazy.

She finally looked at me," Just make sure I don't do drugs, drink to much, vape, or alcohol vape ok?" That's literally impossible but I will keep her safe.

She said while opening the door," Oh and by the way I'm a guy magnet so if you don't want your date making out with other guys then yeah you have to have a close eye on me" she winks. Oh my gosh, I mean if she drinks and she's a guy magnet that just combines for disaster! Maybe it wasn't the smartest thing to bring her here. But hey, how was I supposed to know she was a party girl?

Once the door opens you can smell strong alcohol and Halo was trying her best not to inhale anything. But there was nothing to inhale because it was really stuffy in here. The music was booming inside my ears and there was people dancing everywhere with pink colored strobe lights going to different directions. It was a pretty big house for sure.

Halo automatically started to the dance floor. She swayed her hips and arms really listening to the music. She looked so sexy dancing like that. But I think a little to much because guys started eyeing her seductivaley. Oh hell no! I curled my hands into fists wanting to claim her as mine but I couldn't because this whole date was just to fulfill a thank you. So not much like a date at all. This sucks shit.

Then I saw a blond guy walking towards her and smiling. He placed a hand on her a hip. Jealousy shot throughout my body. I was furious. He spun her around and her eyes were widened. They started talking but I couldn't hear them over the loud music.

But he ended up leaving her and she danced alone again. Thank god! I thought I had to beat the shit out of him to stay away from her! Wait what am I saying we're not even dating, how I wish were for just right now. I drank like 2 beer bottles and I needed to go to the bathroom.

So I yelled over the music to Halo," Hey I'm going to the bathroom don't do anything stupid!" She nodded. So I left to the bathroom and started to go when what I think was a group of guys going in here. One guy was saying," Hey guys did you see the chick out there dancing?" The other one said," Bro there's a bunch of chicks dancing you gotta be more specific."

I got out of the stall and started washing my hands slowly so I can hear their conversation," Oh you know who I am talking about its that girl called Halo." What the hell are they talking about?

The other guys wide eyed saying," No way dude that chick is legend, are you sure she's here because if she is I have first dibs!" No I actually have first dibs she's my date I wanted to say.

So instead of getting anymore angry I got out of there and made sure that I was at Halo's side all night so those guys won't fool around with her. I got out hearing the words,"Chug chug chug chug!" There was a a whole groups of people screaming it and I went to see who it was.

I scooted to the front and saw her. It was Halo. Are you serious?! I went to the bathroom for a couple minutes and now she is certain of attention. She was upside down chugging the gallon of alcohol and she nodded her head meaning that she was finished and everybody started yelling," Woo!" She got up and screamed," Wooo!!" With the crowd. How did this happen?!

She's right she was crazy at parties but she isn't going to get anymore crazy because I pushed through the rest of the crowd and grabbed her arm. And headed towards the door to get some fresh air. I yelled," What the hell happened?! I was gone for like second and when I come back you were freaking chugging!"

She rolled her eyes," Wutever brah I mean like I did tell you that youuu can't leave meh!" She was right but I didn't think that this would happen! She tried to go back in but I didn't let her. " Halo please don't go back in there you know bad things will happen" I tried to say with her understanding me.

She shook her head no and went back inside. What was I thinking of bringing her here?! Ugh this is all my fault. I went back inside and she was drinking in alone while dancing. I did almost smile until one of those guys that were in the bathroom started to dance close behind her without her even knowing.

Why do guys take advantage of drunk girls! Like Jesus! Oh shit I do the same thing. Then he got closer to her and I stepped forward. I saw his hands going closer and closer to her ass. Fucking shit! I'm not letting this happen I can't, and  plus wasn't it one of Halo's rules?

Then he squeezed her ass and she didn't even react to it but I sure did. I stood up to him and punched him square in the eye. I yelled," Stay away from her!" He squeeked," Oh shit sorry man! I didn't know she was yours, chill!" Did he seriously tell ME to chill! While I was distracted he swung at me but Halo got in the way so he ended up punching her face instead.

And that was it for me. All my rage went into the multiple times I punched him in the face for hitting my girl. My girl? This is it! We're getting out of this place! Halo was on the floor and I was yelling," Halo! Halo!" She finally woke up saying," Uh er dude I'm fineee I could take careee of myself! And plus I have a boyfriend already!" I almost dropped her when I heard that. Boyfriend? Boyfriend?!

I didn't know what else to say. I was shocked that she considered me boyfriend. Does that mean she likes me back? Yes I said back as you can tell I like her a lot. It all came to my head as in why I was so bloody outraged. It's because I wanted her to be mine. Picturing her with any other guy makes a pang in my stomach.

I thought she was fine so I carried her to my car and got to the drivers seat and drove. We got to Junipers house and I dropped her off there. Juniper was about to question me when I said to ask tomorrow. And I drove off knowing or having the probability of Halo liking me.
