Choosing Is Hard

Chapter 2

Juniper's POV
I was on my bed laying down dazing out of what happened yesterday. My best friend Halo of course was there but man was she crazy. She won beer pong like a million times! I shouldn't be surprised because she goes to parties everyday. I even wonder how we get along because to be honest we are complete opposites.

She is one of those party people and I'm those super shy ones. But I guess I like the fact of danger in her and she likes the fact that I'm shy and tries to boost my confidence. And well she did because I threw the party and I got to say I did pretty damn well for my first party. Or at least I think I did?! I shivered at the thought of everybody thinking that it was lame. How embarrassing.

All of a sudden I hear a scream and I know it can't be good because my parents are out of town and I have full responsibility on my little sister Chloe. I straighten up and walk down the hall and see my sister blushing while a hard Slam! Hits the door and I jumped in surprise. I quickly looked at the door back to my sister," Chloe who was that?!" I screamed frightened that somebody could've kidnapped her or murdered her and then I would've been killed by my parents!

She claims that a squirrel came in here and she tried to get it out but then it went out the door and it slammed because of the wind. I obviously wasn't buying it and gave her a death glare so she could tell me the honest truth. She sighed in defeat, " I was going to the bathroom then saw Halo and she told me to pretend this never happened because she thought she was going to get in trouble but I have no idea why she was in the bathroom." My eyes widened. Oh. She did say she was going to crash at my place and called her parents if she could they did agree but I didn't see her the rest of the night I was so worried so I just thought she went back home.

I walked back to my room and took a quick nap. A half hour later I made my sister and I some cereal for breakfast. I put a mouthful of the cereal in my mouth when I heard a knock at the door. I muffled, " I'm coming!" I opened the door and there I saw Halo wearing a white blouse with a black leather jacket on and black jeggings paired with some black converse her hair also straightened she looked at me with an apologetic look in her eyes. I know why your here I wanted to say. But I decided to let her struggle. Woah! Did I really just say that? She said, " By the look on your face I can tell that your sister told you about me right?" I nodded. She sighed, " I'm really sorry Juniper for crashing your place but do you mind telling me what happened last night? Because all I seem to remember is drinking."

Instead of staying mad at her I decided to tell her the whole story. I know I'm a really kind person. I told her how she won beer pong again and she did a funny victory dance and yelled, " I'm still undefeatable!" I laughed. And how everybody started to yell was screaming for her to jug the barrel of alchohol. She blushed, " I'm sorry for going crazy last night I should've just stuck with you and be boring." I stuck my tongue out and slapped her arm.

I say, " So you want to go shopping before the first day of school starts tommorow?" She bolted up and nodded her head excitedly jumping up and down. I chuckled thinking about what great friends we are and yet so different. Sighing I got up grabbed my phone and the keys and we both head towards the mall.
