"Hey guys!" A voice pulls me out of the trace I was in. "Oh hey, Jaelyn!" Melissa responds. "Heya, Jaelyn." I say with a smile. We chat and look over eachothers schedules for a couple minutes.
"Since we're just sitting here doing nothing and we still have fifteen minutes till school starts, do you guys want to go look around?" Melissa asks. Why didn't I think of that before?"Yeah! That sounds great!" I exclaim as I stand up and push the chair in. I look around and see some stairs, "Want to go upstairs? Our first period is up there anyways." I ask them.
"Sure." Jaelyn and Melissa say at the same time. We all share a small laugh as we walk to the stairs. I walk very carefully up them, taking care to NOT trip.We walk a little was down the hall and come to one of the four studio rooms in the school. There is soft singing coming from inside as well as the sounds of an acoustic guitar being strummed. "Shh!" I violently whisper at Jaelyn and Melissa. "Do you hear that?"
"I'm coming apart at the seams, pitching myself for leads in other people's dreams. Buzz, buzz, buzz. Doc. there's a hole where something was."
Patrick. Stump.
Our trio of friends exchange a look of excitement, panic and amazement. "Guys! It's Patrick! What do we do?!" Jaelyn whispers. "I don't know! Wait shh, did he stop?" Melissa points out. Suddenly the door opens beside is and Patrick is standing there smirking. "You guys aren't very good at being quiet, are you?" He asks. Jaelyn's face flushes red. "N-No..." I stutter. "S-Sorry for bugging you, Patrick."
"Bugging me? Nah. I have to get to my class anyways. I really need to set my clocks earlier, because I'm always late." He sighs.
"Did you just?" Melissa blurts out.
"Yes. Yes I did. Now excuse me girls, I need to get to my classroom." He hints for us to move out of the way, which we do without hesitation. No need to upset the ray of sunshine by making him late on the first day.
"Bye, Patrick." The three of us say as he walks down the hall and around a corner.Jaelyn slowly turns around and looks at us. "Guys! We just had a conversation with THE Patrick Stump!" She exclaims. "I know! But remember what he tweeted before, treat him like a normal person. Also we need to get used to this, we're going to be seeing these guys on a daily basis." I say trying to calm our fangirl feelings.
I look at a clock one the wall. Five minutes till school starts. There is more students walking around in the hallways, looking for their classes and trying to contain themselves. "I guess we should to look for our class, huh?" I ask Melissa and Jaelyn. "Yeah." They respond. We walk up another flight of stairs and find the room number. The teachers name is on a plaque beside the open door.
Mr. Urie
Holy smokes, Brendon Urie is my first period teacher.
"Yo, Y/N? You alright?" Melissa asks.
" (Melissa, Of course she isn't. Does it look like the kids are alright?" Jaelyn jokes.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I was just remembering when I saw Panic! on tour. Damn, that was amazing." I say, remembering the amazing feeling of the crowds energy and being able to scream song lyrics for the first time around other people."Well hello there girls. Do you guys have Band as your first class?" Brendon says from the doorway. Calling them by their last names is going to take some time to get used to...
"Yes!" The three of is say as we walk closer to Brendon and the classroom.
"Well, come on inside then!" Brendon says and steps aside to give us space to enter the room.
"Hi Brendon!" Jaelyn greets him.
"That's Mr. Urie to you." He says while faking seriousness.
"Hello Mr. Urie!" Melissa replies, earning a laugh from Mr. Urie.Ding! Ding! Ding!
All four of us jump after being startled by the school bell. First day of Pop Punk High has officially started.
