Day Four

It's almost the weekend and normally I would be excited out of my wits, but this is different. I have to leave the place I call home... for a couple days.

Beep Beep Beep

My alarm screamed into the darkness

I groaned with tiredness from last night's adventures through Netflix, wattpad and YouTube. Always worth it at the time, but never in the morning. After sitting up and attempting to rub the tiredness from my eyes, I grab the ball of breathing fluff at the end of my bed, only earning a tired meow from it.

I shuffled out of my room and up the stairs and was met by the smell of hashbrowns and pancakes, a rare weekday breakfast. I set Chico down on the hardwood floor and she promptly collapsed to the floor with a huff and fell back asleep.

I look up at the microwave clock, it read 6:00. I hate mornings, well before I got enrolled to Pop Punk High anyways, now it's a blessing. Still dislike the earliness of it though. I quickly ate my food, put Chico outside and yelled to my mom that we have to leave soon. She yelled back a muffled ' okay!' before I went downstairs and grabbed my phone.

I opened wattpad because ten minutes can be enough to read a chapter of something if you put your mind to it. I gasped with joy upon seeing one of my favorite stories had been updated; The Adventures Of Patrick Stump by TypicalGryffindor. (I highly recommend this, it's very good :D) and read as much as I could before my alarm went off. I sighed before grabbing my phone, earbuds, charger and backpack and walking up the carpeted stairs.

Once we were in the car, I quickly turned Bluetooth on on both my phone and the car and connected. The drums in the beginning of Stay Frosty Royal Milk Tea boomed through the car and we were off to school and work.

Upon getting to school Sunshine Riptide just started playing and I frowned upon realizing I was going to have to shut it off mid-song, that's like a crime. I reluctantly disconnected and said a quick goodbye to my mom before shoving my earbuds' cord into the jack on my phone and got out of the car. It was raining outside and quite cold. Typical winter western Washington weather. I threw my hood on and ran torwards the front doors, glancing upon another figure running to the same door.

"Wonderful weather we're having, huh?!" I call out to them. Their response was a laugh I immediately recognized as Patrick's. "Yeah!" He chuckled. He got to the door before me and held it open, a classic display of politeness. I dipped my head at him and rushed inside the building, flinging my hood off. "Thanks, Patrick." I smile. "No problem, see you in class Y/N." He grinned before walking towards the staircase.

I continued to the tables sitting in the cafeteria, spotting a girl decked out in Justin Bieber stuff and a hot pink skirt. Topping the look off with a studded, expensive looking purse, high heels and drowned in makeup. I shuddered a little before sitting at a table and little ways away from her.
To my disappointment, she upped her seat and came closer to me. Too bad we're the only ones in the room.

"Ugh, this school isn't even that good, and most of the 'teachers' aren't even hot." She complained. "Huh?" I distantly asked, not really paying attention. "I'm saying that the only hot guy here is that Mr. Urie guy." She sighed. "Number one, not true. Number two, that's not the point of the school. It's to learn about music." I angerly remarked.

She looked taken aback like no one has ever disagreed with her before. Her forehead furrowed as she suddenly stood up. "You'll regret that! Watch your back, for I, Chole, will get you for that!" She practically yelled before storming off to god knows where.

I sat there for a moment trying to comprehend what just happened. I shrugged it off and stuck an earbud in as Church by Fall Out Boy started to play. I opened my phone and scrolled through Instagram and posting a quick photo. (You probably should've said goodbye to the fourth wall a while ago.)

"Hey, Y/N!" Jaelyn said as she sat beside me. "Oh, hey Jaelyn. You won't believe what happened to me this morning." I start as I tell her the events of my day so far, finishing just as the bell rings, signifying the beginning of another day of school.

Author's Note
Literally only one person will get the 'Chole' character 😂. Gotta love inside jokes.
