Chapter Eleven
Mark's POV
"Let's take a break before we get ready to film," Jinyoung suggested as he turned off the music that was blasting in the practice room.
All of us were already down on the ground even before Jinyoung said anything. We've been practicing some of our new choreography since early this morning. Since Jackson was told to rest for a week, we had to alter all the choreography that we had to fit six members instead of seven members. Bambam and I were also busy practising Jackson's raps and dance moves. We pretty much mastered it already; all that's left to do is to record the backing music for the songs so that we can perform it smoothly on the music shows. We are due to perform at the music shows starting from next week and we don't have much time to prepare for them. On top of that, our schedule has been packed with a bunch of schedules. I wonder if I would have the time to meet up with A Ra again this week.
Speaking of A Ra, I wonder what she was doing. I knew that she had some classes today but that wouldn't stop her from replying me right? Even if it would take some time, she would still reply my text right?
hey... what are you doing now?
I pushed those thoughts away and went ahead and texted her. I stared at the message for a few moments just in case A Ra texts me back straight away but when I realised that she's probably busy with school, I exited the app and went on my social media apps instead. I kept checking my messages to see if A Ra has replied to my text. Even if my phone didn't ring or vibrate, I would still check my messages. While I was scrolling through my Instagram, my phone suddenly rang, making me super excited. Annoyance replaced the excitement when I read the message that I received. The notification that I thought was from A Ra was actually a notification from Jinyoung.
Hyung I think she's not interested in you anymore. I think you lost your charm. ㅋㅋㅋ
I looked up from my phone and gave Jinyoung a glare before replying to his text.
YA! MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS
After sending that text, I took out my earpiece from my bag and plugged it into my phone to listen to the songs that we are going to perform later. I closed my eyes and match the dance moves with the song in my head. I kept replaying the choreography in my head over and over again until our manager called us to get ready for the next schedule.
We were filming two special stages for our fans; two songs from the new album that were composed by one of us. Jinyoung, Yugyeom and I were going to film 'Paradise' while the rest were going to film 'Sign'. Our team were told that we would be the second team to film since our video is slightly harder to film.
While getting my hair and makeup done, I kept checking my phone; checking to see if A Ra replied my text. I don't know why I was acting like this. Yes, I'm always on my phone but I would never wait for people to text me back. Whenever I text people, I wouldn't be waiting next to the phone, hoping that the person would text back.
"Mark hyung, you need to stop looking at your phone. If she's not going to reply you, she's not going to reply you," Yugyeom told me off for being on my phone all the time.
"Ya! I'm not waiting to anyone's reply. You do know that I can check my phone anytime I want, right?" I lied as a respond to Yugyeom.
From the corner of my eyes, I could see Jinyoung shaking his head while making a disappointing look. "Hyung, why do you keep telling us lies when it comes to A Ra? You can just tell us the truth you know," he spoke up after shaking his head for a few moments.
