Chapter Fourteen

A Ra's POV

"Be careful," Mark told me as he watched me enter my apartment building.

"Don't worry oppa, I will," I replied him with a smile before entering the building.

My smile stayed on my face even after Mark was long gone from my sight. The night kept replaying in my head over and over again. From the moment I met Mark again to the moment we sang his song while holding each other's hand. Every moment made my cheeks hurt from smiling so much. Never in my life would I think that someone could make me feel this way.

"Your date must have gone well dear," Mrs Park's voice brought me back to reality.

I looked up to see her smiling at me while carrying some bags of groceries with her.

"Date? What date?" I asked here all confused. It took me a while before I realize what she was talking about. "Oh you mean Mark oppa and I?" it wasn't a date," I told her.

Mrs Park looked surprised when I told her that I didn't go on a date with Mark. I could hear her mutter something under her breath; something along the lines of 'you look like you went on a date'. I thought that she was going to repeat that sentence out loud to me but what came out of her mouth caught me completely off guard.

"Oh don't worry dear. I'm pretty sure the next time would be a proper date."

Mrs Park said that with a casual tone before walking towards her front door' leaving me behind, stunned by her words. A part of me wants her words to be true. Another part of me is scared of her words.

"You don't have to be so stunned darling. I see the way you've been acting since you've met him. I can tell that you like him already," Mrs Park said to me before telling me to go into my apartment.

No matter how hard I try, her words never left my mind; 'I can tell that you like him already'. Do I really have feelings for Mark?

"Urgggg... Why is there so much work to do for Uni? Can't I just graduate already?" So Hee complained to me through the computer screen.

She always says the same thing whenever we have an assignment to complete or a test to study for. Each time she complains to me, I would always have the same reply for her.

"How are you going to graduate if you don't do any work? Come on So Hee, just a few more weeks before term break starts."

Since term break is coming up, our professors ad lecturers have been pushing us to do more and more work before we go on break. I had 3 assignments due next week, 2 written tests to study for and 4 presentation to prepare for. I almost have no time for myself. After my night out with Jinyoung and Mark, I couldn't sleep after Mrs Park said that I had feelings for Mark. So instead of tossing around I bed all night, I decided to study and finish up some assignments. My Sunday was also spent in front of my laptop, typing out my assignments and reading up on the topics for my tests. At one point during the day, Mrs Park came into my apartment carrying side dishes and telling me to eat my lunch before it gets too late. Honestly, I think if she didn't come over to give me food, I wouldn't realize that I haven't had a proper meal yet.

"A Ra, how are you even coping with all your school work? You take more modules than me," So Hee asked me through the computer screen as she procrastinate on doing her work.

So Hee and I might take the same course but currently, I'm taking more modules than her. I opted to take a shorter route to finish Uni so that means that I take more modules at a time So Hee on the other hand Is taking the normal route. That also means that while I graduate Uni, So Hee still has to finish a few more years in Uni.
