Chapter One

Mark's POV

"Mark, Jackson, you guys can go home already, both of you finished your recordings for the album already. Make sure you go back to the dorm and rest, tomorrow you guys have dance practise in the morning," our manager hyung informed us.

Jackson and I just nodded at our manager hyung and started to pack up our stuff so we can go back to the dorm. The some of the members were still in the process of recording the songs for our upcoming album and the rest have other individual schedules.

"Hyung, do you want to go home straight or do you want to eat first?" Jackson asked me when we left the JYP building.

We were lucky because there weren't much people outside of the JYP building. We could walk and talk slowly without anyone bothering us. Don't get me wrong; I love my fans to death. Its just that sometimes it's nice to be able to walk on our own without any bodyguards or anyone stopping us asking for pictures and autographs.

"Jackson-ah, we didn't get to sleep much last night because of our recordings. I think I want to go back to the dorm and catch up on my sleep," I replied Jackson's question.

"Hyung you're no fun you know, right?"

I just ignored his remark and continued on walking. Oh my god, why is today so cold? Literally yesterday I thought that winter in Korea was going to end soon and today it feels like the coldest winter day. Even with four layers, a thick outer jacket and a thick scarf, I still felt like I was going to freeze if I stay out in the cold for too long.

"Hyung! I don't have my phone and wallet. I think I left it back in the practice room," Jackson told me in a panic voice while rummaging through his pockets and bag to try and find his phone and wallet.

"Quickly go and take it Jackson," I instructed him while looking around for a warm place for me seat and wait for him. "I'll wait at that café. Please hurry Jackson."

"Ok hyung but can you help me buy a cup of hot coffee? I'll pay you back later," Jackson asked me as he start to turn back to go to the company.

I just nodded at his request and started to head towards the café. While walking there, I zipped up my outer jacket and adjusted my scarf so that I'd be a little warmer. After adjusting my clothes, I quickly place both my hands into my pocket where a couple of heat packs were. Even after doing all that, I still felt extremely cold so I decided to sprint to the café instead of walking there.

Once I entered the café, I immediately adjusted my scarf again so that this time instead of protecting me from the cold, the scarf would keep my identity hidden from everyone else. I did a quick scan of the café to see if anyone recognised me and to look for a place to seat.

"Annyeonghaseayo, how may I help you sir?" the lady at the front counter asked me for my order.

I quickly placed my ordered and payed for the drinks. Luckily for me, there was an empty seat at the corner of the café. I sat down at the seat while waiting for the drinks to be made, knowing that if I didn't seat in the seat quickly, someone else might take it since it was really hard to find a seat in the crowded café. The corner of the café was pretty small so there was only one other table next to my table. The person occupying that table was a girl who looks younger than me. You can hardly see her table top; it was covered with papers, books, stationery and two cups of coffee. The girl was busy writing in her notebook while referring to a super thick textbook. From where I was sitting, I could see the inside of her textbook. It was filled with post it notes of different colours and the text in the book were all highlighted in probably seven different colours.
