CHAPTER EIGHT

An, me, and Adrian sit at a table at a restaurant, waiting for the guy I contacted. Apparently there's this guy here, he knows many criminal vampires and I contacted him. He said he'd meet us here if I paid for his lunch. So now we're here waiting for him, and I ordered his food he asked for. He had better show up to because I also found his address and I will knock down his door and threaten him to tell me. Okay I may also be a wiz at computers. " When is he getting he-" " there " I point at the door. The man was 27, he was a ware wolf omega. He mingled with humans, warewolves, and vampires and he knew whenever a dangerous person was here. He sits down, and looks at An, Adrian and me. " which one of you is Sophia Smith. I'm guessing you because you the only one who isn't royalty and noticeable " thank you! " Yes I am she " I say, he takes his fork and stats eating. " so who do you wanna know " he asks, " Two vampires. Big scary, not Adrian. " I say, Adrian smirks, " pale, tall, and well built and would hurt anyone who got in there way? " he asks, I nod. " there here. There seem to be just collecting stuff. I don't think there there own" he says, " so they could work for someone " I ask him, " yep. That's exactly what I'm saying. And whoever they work for must be rich and powerful " he says, so they have someone giving them orders. But what would they want with An or me. Or both. " thanks. Enjoy the food, and I will probably contact you again, I slip him the money and we leave. " So they work for someone " An says I could feel her stress. " I'll handle it An. " I tell her, she nods and hugs me. " go with Adrian. I have stuff to go find about these guys " I tell her, she nods. " I'm not letting you go " Adrian says taking me. " do you relies that there in this city probably with more of the men, you could be killed again " Adrian puts his hands on my shoulders and starts shaking me, " you could die again " Adrian says shaking me. " Adrian " I snap, making him stop shaking me. " I'll be fine. " I say removing his hands,  " Carson is coming. His dad was a black belt and so was he. His dad is also in the military and taught him things. He knows how to handle weapons and how to fight. Will be fine " I tell him. He looks at me then at Anya, then back to me. " promise you won't go to far. At least just investigate the place. Don't go all ninja. " Adrian says, " I'm not making the mistake of rushing into it. I'm gonna wait and think. Not rush into things like I did when I died. I'll be fine Adrian. " I promise, " An. You stay with Adrian. And stay at the hotel " I tell them and walk away to a cab. I whistle and the cab drives up. I get inside and say, " Fourth street " and the cab drives off.

I arrive at Tasha house and get out. We were gonna go to the museum. That's where I found out some of the men were. They were staying there looking around for something, and I'm gonna find out what, and take it. Yes I'm gonna steal from a museum. Your probably thinking I'm crazy. Yeah well I am. I knock on the door of Tasha house and her mom open it and hugs me tight. " Oh Sophia " she cries, I see Tasha father and he smiles at me. The gang including Bianca comes out and Tasha hugs her dad kissing him on the cheek. " Mrs tanner " I say, trying to get her to let go. " Honey " Tasha dad says pulling her away. " be safe " her dad says and we head off down the street. Logan wraps his arm around me and kisses my cheek. I smile and kiss him and we hold hands. I look at Tasha, Emily and Carson and they nod. I nod back. Here's the plan. We would go to the museum and after an hour me and Carson would leave and go search. And Tasha and Emily would take he others to the restaurant saying I had to go check on the princess and Carson came with me so I wasn't alone. But me and Carson would be sneaking around trying to find those guys, and what they were wanting to steal. And I still don't understand what would they want to steal in Roma. Come on Roma isn't that nice a place, and the museums crap. We arrive at the museum and pay and enter. Looking around, it looked the same as when I was seven and with my mom. Mom. Her grave was here..I felt the tears coming, when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I look at Tasha. She was here with us, and she probably knows I'm think about her. " what's wrong " Logan asks, " oh nothing just um..nothing " I brush off and go ahead of everyone. I could feel Bianca intense hate stare. She hates me, I hate her, we have so much in common, right? We walk through many of the different sites when I start to fall behind everyone with Carson, I nod at him and we nod at Tasha and Emily, and sneak away. Once were far enough away I turn to him. " okay. You lead and tell me when you see them " Carson says, I nod and we walk around normally looking at different exhibits. When I saw a guardian, uncle Issac guardian to be more precise. " Carson " he looks at the guardian and we hide behind a wall and peek out. He stands there looking around. was he working with the guys? Was he the leader!? But instead uncle Issac limps over to him by his cane from where he was looking. " why is my uncle here " I whisper questionably, " did your father say he would send him? " Carson asks, " no " I say and watch as they leave. That's when the two men walked out from the other hallway. I push Carson behind the wall and put my finger in front of my lips shushing him. He nods and I look out the wall again. They were coming are way. I grab Carson and we run lightly to a different area but where we could still watch them. They walk down here, just to see they press a button and a door opens. What the heck! They enter and close the door behind them. I look at Carson and we go to the door. I press the button but the door doesn't open. " must be a hand scanner " Carson says, I nod. What did this door lead to? That's when I saw him. I look over, it was the men the third guy, he's the one that shot be with that explosive gun and killed me. I watch as he inspects an exhibit. The air controls. They want the air controls! But why? I take Carson and we walk down the hall normally. " I know what they want " I tell him, " midnight, we break in and take the air control " I tell him as we leave the museum. " wait the air controls " Carson says, i nod. " the man who was looking at it was there the night of the Attack. " I tell him, he looks at me worriedly, " what if we get caught? " he asks, " then you run and let me handle it " I tell him and we enter the restaurant ending are conversation before he could deny.

Getting into my long sleeve shirt, and hood I get into my black tights and nice boots without a heel and are silent. I wear my black gloves and I was ready. " you really going through with stealing something? " I turn to Adrian, " if it leads me to them then yes " I say and put on my face mask. " what are you stealing " Adrian asks tying the mask. " the air controls " I say, he stops. " are you crazy " he asks, " yes " I tell him and grab my bag. " you are gonna get caught " he says, " don't underestimate me Adrian " I warn him and jump out the window down to the dark streets.
