My name is Harry, and I just moved to New York from California. I know nothing about this place, except that it's one of the most important states in the country. All I see is bright lights and fancy cars, fake people trying to make a dollar. I'm a 14 year old worthless teen who finally escaped the hell we know as High School. I traveled here by train and bus, wasting all of my piggy bank (which had about $50) to get here. I now have no food or shelter, as I have it all up just to get out of Martin Harris High School.

It has been the best and worse decision in my entire life. I am now free from the fake friends at high school, but I am now a witness to the real world, and I don't know if that'll be good or bad. I've heard many frightening stories of how people manipulate you to do stuff they want in the real world, which is basically high school, but now it's worse. There isn't a principle to tell you what's wrong or what's right, or anybody to control anything for that matter. Not even the police. This is my story, and I will write it down in this diary, hoping someday somebody will find it, and be able to relate to all the things I've been through.
