Chapter 29: Wedding Invitation

Jeongyeon's POV

We arrived at Japan as we go to the nearest coffee shop to have some coffee..
We enter the coffee shop as we walk to the bar and cashier, looking at the menu..
"Jeong, what do you want," Dahyun asked me as I still being confused what I should have for my drink? We are here for coffee but I don't think that I want a coffee.. ah they have smoothies so I will just take smoothies then.
"I will just take strawberry smoothie," I said to Dahyun as I smiled at her, then she is ordering our drink, I turned back to check for the empty place at the coffee shop but someone catch my sight as she gets up from her chair looking at us as I stop my step when our eyes meet each other. Momo? I was here for seeing her but don't even once I thought I will meet her here at the coffee shop nowhere in this big city at Japan.
"Thank you.. yaaaa-........" Dahyun bumps into me from the back as she stops and looks at Momo startled, just like me..
"Momo?" Dahyun walks towards Momo as I still stand freeze in my place, not that ready to see her this sudden.

"You alone?" Dahyun asked as Momo nodded and smiled at her.
"Yaaaa... what are you doing? Come here" Dahyun shouted as she continues to asked Momo.
"Do you mind if we join you?" Dahyun asked as Momo shakes her head and smile, then looked at me.
"Yaa.. bitch.. come here" Dahyun put down our drink on the table as she comes to me and pull me to the table and sit down.
"Woahh.. I don't think that we will meet here" Dahyun said to Momo as she smiled.
"Yes, what a fate," Momo said as she smirks.
"How are you, Momo?" Dahyun asked her as I gulp on my smoothies don't dare to look at her eyes.
She becomes more beautiful now, her eyes that look at me still the same as before, that sparkling and so sweet that I can feel that I can see the whole world in it.
"Fine, really fine.. how about you guys?" She asked as Dahyun kick my foot.
"Eh? What?" I looked at Dahyun as she grinned at me.
"Ah yes.. we are fine.. really finee," I said as Momo smiled at us.
"Are you guys having a holiday here?" She asked.
"Yes, holiday" Dahyun nodded as again she kicks me.
"Whyyyy?" I whisper as I clench my teeth
"Say something, bitch.. " Dahyun said as she glared at me.
I looked at Momo that is playing with her coffee.
"W..ehm..what are you doing now, Momo?" I asked.
"Hmmm.. nothing, just staying at home and help Mom sometimes," she said.
"You don't go to college?" Dahyun asked.
"No, I'm too lazy for that already," she asked.
"Work?" I asked
"Mom, don't let me work.." she said as I nodded.

"How long you guys will be staying here?" She asked.
"Hmm.. a week?" Dahyun said as I nodded.
"Oh so..I think that you guys can come" she said as she searches for something in her bag.
"Here, I'm getting married tomorrow," she said as she gives us the Invitation card, wedding invitation card that her name is written on it with her boyfriend, I think..
My world just breaks down, I don't know how I should act anymore, tell me this is a dream.. I was happy that I see her here but why that happiest moment suddenly is gone after she said she is getting married, I don't believe it first Dahyun said that she is going to get married and now that wedding Invitation card prove everything, she doesn't love me anymore..

"Ohh.. wow.. congratulation, Momo" Dahyun said as we are getting awkward because of a moment of silences.
"You guys will come, right?" She asked as both of them looked at me.
"Y...yes.. we will.. of course" shit that is the hardest decision that I have said all this time.
Dahyun pats me on my back secretly as she knows that I will be hurt so much because of this.
"I have told Sana and the other too, and I wonder they will make it to come or not tomorrow," she said as I fake a smile.
"Guys, I will go to the toilet for a moment" Dahyun gets up and go to the toilet leaving both of us awkwardly.
"So, what are you doing now?" She asked.
"Still in the college with Dahyun," I said as she nodded.
"Momo" I called her.
"Hmm?" She looked at me with a soft sweet smile to me.
"I hope you live happily with your husband," I said.
"Still not husband, he will be my husband from tomorrow,... hmmmm.. how about you? Find someone?" She asked.
"No.. I haven't," I said.
"You should find one, Jeong," she said as she giggled.
"I can't cause I still love someone, and can't move on for all this time," I said as she stops what she is doing and looked at me.
"And she is getting married tomorrow" that spill out from my mouth as we looked at each other awkwardly.
